😫The last year certainly has been unprecedented! I hear complaints daily from fellow dog moms about their experiences trying to manage their pet’s health. This is particularly true when they talk about access to vet care. 😫

Many are unable to get an appointment with their vet or had to wait weeks to get an appointment only to find out they were not allowed to go inside with their pets resulting in additional frustration and stress.😤

With the holiday’s approaching, virtual access to vet care is even more important! Not only are our own vet’s hours more limited, but there are more holiday shenanigans our pets can get into.🙀

This week I wanted to talk a little about why I decided to open my craft shack back up. The decision for me to begin to spend a little more time doing something I love came about for many reasons.

As someone who is always growing and learning, I had forgotten how important it is to honor what we love and what we bring to this earth. One of the amazing gifts I bring is my gift of creation. I love being able to create something beautiful from nothing.

I love so many different types of creation, but creation from crafting is something that brings joy to my soul! If you have some time, go check it out. Hopefully you are brining your genius to your world everyday! I would love to hear about it.

I decided that it was time really give my other passion a go and I opened my Etsy shop. Now my life is all about Crafting and Critters - and I think that is a GOOD THING!

Thanksgiving marks the beginning of my favorite time of the year, Christmas! It is a great time to share our 3 simple holiday food tips to keep your dog safe. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas there is so MUCH yummy food in our house. Unfortunately much of this food is not safe for your dog. Make sure you are diligent this time of year and keep Fido off counters and away from foods that can make them sick.

Is your dog suffering from stranger anxiety?

Anxiety is our dogs is more common than many realize. In fact, 1 in 3 dogs suffers from some type of anxiety. Anything from storm anxiety to separation anxiety, our pets get nervous just like their people. One of the most complicated forms of anxiety is stranger anxiety. As much as we love our pets, it can be really disruptive to our lives if we can’t have visitors in our own homes. This can be especially challenging around the holidays when your home is filled with new smells and faces.

The things we do, the things we say, the way we treat people matters. Sometimes even the things we DON'T do matters. No one will ever be perfect, but we should strive to live a life of high character.

Respecting others, respecting different opinions, giving back and being kind are great ways to show character.

The way you treat people today will be the way you are treated tomorrow. The way you think today will bring a harvest or a famine tomorrow.

Remember - YOUR character IS your Destiny!
