🌟🐾 Dogs in Wheels = Dogs in Motion! 🐾🌟

Did you know that mobility carts can give dogs with paralysis, weakness, or injuries a second chance at living a full, happy life? 🐕❤️

Carts aren’t “giving up” — they’re giving FREEDOM. ✨ From zooming around the yard to joining family adventures, dogs in carts can run, play, and thrive just like their four-legged friends.

At Pawsitive Impact Rehabilitation, we help pups regain independence with customized mobility plans (and lots of encouragement 🐶💪). A cart is just one tool in their journey toward a functional, joyful life.

🎆🐾 Happy 4th of July from all of us at Pawsitive Impact Rehabilitation! 🐾🎆

As we celebrate independence and freedom today, we’re reminded of the incredible journeys our canine companions take toward their own kind of freedom — freedom from pain, fear, and physical limitations. ❤️‍🩹🐶

Whether it’s helping a senior dog run again, supporting a rescue pup as they heal from trauma, or strengthening muscles after surgery, canine rehabilitation gives dogs a new leash on life. 🐕✨

This Independence Day, let’s celebrate not just fireworks and BBQs, but the resilient spirit of the dogs who inspire us every single day. 🩵

🌟 Tip for tonight: Keep your pups safe & calm during the fireworks:
✔️ Give them a quiet, cozy space indoors
✔️ Use calming aids if needed
✔️ Play white noise to mask loud booms

Here’s to more happy, healthy tails wagging freely under the stars. 🇺🇸🐾

🐾 Welcome Back, Scruffy! 🐾

Our sweet friend Scruffy is back at Pawsitive Impact Rehabilitation for some extra TLC after experiencing an IVDD flare-up. 💛

Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) can be a lifelong condition, and flare-ups are a common part of the journey. Just like with humans who deal with chronic back pain, dogs with IVDD can have periods of increased discomfort due to inflammation, activity, or even changes in weather. That’s why ongoing care, monitoring, and targeted rehab are so important.

We’re here to help Scruffy feel his best again with a customized plan consisting of gentle therapeutic exercises — all tailored to reduce pain and support his spine safely. 🐶✨

To our fellow IVDD warriors: You’re not alone. Flare-ups happen, but with the right care, recovery is possible — and progress continues, one pawstep at a time. 💪🐾

Sky is on the road to recovery after undergoing spine surgery (hemilaminectomy) — and he’s showing us what true resilience looks like.

A hemilaminectomy is a procedure where part of the vertebra is removed to relieve pressure on the spinal cord, usually caused by a disc herniation. It’s often used to treat conditions like IVDD, and it helps restore function, reduce pain, and prevent further damage.

Sky’s already making progress with rest, rehab, and a whole lot of love. We’re so proud of this brave pup!

Sweet Violet is kicking off her canine rehabilitation journey after undergoing TPLO surgery — and now, she may be facing a partial tear in her opposite CCL. Unfortunately, this isn’t uncommon: studies show that up to 50% of dogs who tear one cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) will eventually tear the other.

We’re staying proactive with her recovery, focusing on building strength, improving mobility, and supporting both knees every step of the way. Violet’s got the heart of a fighter and the fluffiest cheer squad rooting her on!

Today is National Rescue Dog Day — a day to celebrate second chances, wagging tails, and the powerful bond between rescued dogs and the humans who believe in them.

Rescue isn’t just about saving lives — it’s about transforming them.

Join us in honoring the resilient spirits of rescue dogs everywhere, and the people who help them heal. If you’ve adopted, fostered, donated, or shared a pup’s story — YOU are part of their journey.

Our girl Miley is kicking off her canine rehab journey today — and looking SO cute while doing it! This senior sweetheart has been dealing with some pesky arthritis, but she’s not letting that slow her down.

She may be a senior, but Miley’s still got plenty of sass, tail wags, and snuggles to give. Let’s hear it for this adorable warrior as she takes her first steps toward feeling her best!

Big day for Greg Biffle — he’s officially starting his canine rehab journey! After some time struggling with arthritis, it’s time to take the first steps (and stretches!) toward healing, comfort, and strength.

For those who don’t know, arthritis in dogs is a common condition where the joints become inflamed, leading to stiffness, pain, and reduced mobility. It can be caused by aging, injury, or genetic factors, but the good news is that with the right care — including rehab, and lots of love — dogs can still live happy, active lives.

Greg’s already showing strength and determination. We’ll keep you updated as he makes progress. Let’s cheer him on — one paw at a time!

🐾💪 Rehab time for Aurora! 🌟 This brave girl is starting her canine rehabilitation journey after undergoing surgery for a CCL repair. 🏥🐶 But what exactly is a CCL tear?

In dogs, the cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) is like the ACL in humans—it stabilizes the knee joint. When it tears, it causes pain, limping, and instability. Unlike human ACL injuries, which often happen suddenly (think sports injuries 🏀⚽), CCL tears in dogs usually develop over time due to wear and tear (but can on occasion happen suddenly).

Now, with rehab, patience, and lots of love, Aurora is on her way to getting stronger every day! 💕🐾 Follow along as she works hard to regain her strength and mobility. Let’s cheer her on! 🎉
