Not every correction needs to be a big scene. 🐺

When Kira gets a little too pushy during play, Silas simply redirects, regains engagement, and allows her to return in a calmer mindset.

No drama. No removing her from the fun. Just clear communication and boundaries.

🐺 Good training isn’t about constantly stopping behaviors. It’s about teaching dogs how to make better choices while still enjoying life.

The goal isn’t to control every interaction. It’s to teach self-control within those interactions.

Big dog. Simple communication. Clear boundaries.

Max is young, over 100lbs, and VERY mouthy. 😂 What’s cute at 20lbs gets real different when there’s a whole Great Pyrenees mix attached to those teeth.

The answer doesn’t have to be complicated.

No means no. Good means good. The boundary stays the boundary.

I’m not telling Max he can’t use his mouth, play, chew, or be a dog. I’m teaching him where that behavior belongs. Can’t mouth me? Cool. Go grab your stick.

Dogs don’t need 37 different explanations. They need communication they understand and humans consistent enough to mean what they say.

Set the standard. Communicate it clearly. Stick to it.

👑 CORSO KING OF TEXAS. I SAID WHAT I SAID.

And no, that title didn’t come from teaching a Cane Corso to sit, heel, or look pretty on a leash.
Anybody can learn commands.
I’m talking about understanding the breed.
These dogs carry generations of guardian instinct, power, suspicion, independence, and intensity. You don’t erase that. You don’t punish it out of them. You learn how to communicate with it, regulate it, and give it direction.

I’ve worked with them.
I own them.
I’ve rescued them.
I manage multiple Corsos under one roof.
And more importantly, I teach owners and breeders how to do the same.

Because owning a Corso isn’t about proving you can control a powerful dog.

It’s about becoming the kind of leader that powerful dog can understand.

That’s breed comprehension.
That’s canine education.
That’s why I said what I said.
