Our eyes are open! The color is coming in on these little point floofs! Fun fact: points are born all white, and develop their color over time as their extremities (ears, tail, face etc.) cool down due to an effect known as the "Himalayan Gene" that controls the production of melanin, which in turn is responsible for fur pigment.

I've been up all night and right with momma, and I'm very happy to say our little Regina George (Girlfriend) has successfully delivered her first litter of beautiful babies! 🤩😻

Sired by our ever dapper Sir Oscar, I'm expecting some kinky curls on these babies as they develop into their adult coats! 🤩🐑

Momma is resting well while the littles hit that milk bar! 🍼💪

Here at the The Elven Cat we always monitor new litters and momma very closely for the first week. Taking weights twice daily to ensure each little is making the proper gains (getting proper amounts of milk/growing), as well as monitoring for potential birth anomalies. I'm very happy to say Momma Carmella and her babies are all happy, healthy, and CHONKY!! All have passed with flying colors and are ready for the world! 🌎

Our excitement over this litter of Minskins is "Astronomical"!! (ba-dum, tiss 😹)

We have 5 males, 1 female and of the six, five are standard! (That's right, little flippers!! 🐬😆)
