Not long after this photo was taken, Fritz got spooked by a 3rd cyclist and received a small laceration on his front lef...

Not long after this photo was taken, Fritz got spooked by a 3rd cyclist and received a small laceration on his front left fetlock. Appeared stitch worthy. After thorough examination it was discovered the wound was in fact a puncture down into the joint capsule and became necessary to flush the entire joint region to be sure no contaminants existed. The procedure went great, the talented surgeons were able to successfully flush the area including the tendon sheath. However during the recovery process from anesthesia, Fritz got himself wedged into a corner and dislocated his shoulder and broke the top two bones beyond repair in his leg and was humanely euthanized Monday evening. We are devastated. This youngster captured the hearts of everyone he encountered. Difficult to lose our big friends, even harder when their potential has yet to be really unleashed.
Rest in peace sweet Fritzroy.

Great trail horse! 2011 registered appendix gelding, chestnut. 15.2h Super quiet, not spooky, very brave. Loves going out and about. Full medical records available. "Winston" is a great horse, just doesn't want to be an English horse teaching jumping in a kid friendly barn. Clips, ties, loads, stands all day, no vices, doesn't crib. Will pony babies, goes into traffic, doesn't bolt. NOT selling as a kids horse, NOT selling as beginner safe. Suitable for anyone getting back into horses that wants something safe but willing to go have adventures. Lots of training, so prefers someone with some experience. $7500 obo. Must go.
