Amazing news!!! Kevin’s checkup today showed his hematocrit has increased another 5%, Red blood cell count is going up, White blood cell count still decreasing and his wounds are healing incredibly well now!!!
Your prayers are working true miracles in this boy and he deserves it!🙏🏻❤️‍🩹
We are on the right track…. Recheck of blood work again next week! It’s a long road but one well worth it! 👏🏻

A week ago today, this strong dog was in surgery to remove his spleen and a mass. We now know it wasn’t cancer, and we’re so thankful. A few people have asked if I regret taking out his spleen now. I feel bad he had to go through that, but regret? Not a chance. Even though the mass wasn’t cancer, masses like that can rupture as they grow, and when they do, it can be fatal. So many dogs die from undetected internal masses that rupture without warning.

We didn’t have a specific reason to take him in for an ultrasound…no symptoms, nothing obvious. We just wanted to be proactive with his health instead of waiting for something to go wrong. We totally understand that vet care is expensive and not everyone can afford to do that. But if you can be proactive, start now. Run bloodwork, ask about ultrasounds, talk to your vet, there are even mail-away cancer screening tests now. Do whatever you can, if you can. We finally did, and it might have saved Teddy’s life.

This beautiful baby aussie pup Scout 💕 needed a blood transfusion. Some of our own wonderful employee pets donate. This time our donation was from Mr. Re*****on but we have several little hero pets in the clinic.

🐾 This handsome gentleman melted every heart in the ER this week! 💙 With his soulful eyes, perfect manners, and gentle spirit, he was the definition of a good boy. We were so lucky to care for him and are wishing him a speedy recovery and all the belly rubs he deserves! 🐶💉❤️

She might as well be a Pit Bull in Texas, that's about how much interest she gets. If I could transfer her up north somewhere for a better chance I certainly would but she is absolutely 100% invisible for us here in Texas and it's not for lack of telling everyone about her. We had a teeny tiny speck of interest in her and then they p**f disappear.

I am going to beg the village to please hit the share button, a dog like her will have to go viral otherwise she has no chance.

Even after a scary copperhead bite, this brave girl never lost her loving spirit 💚🐾 Here she is showering her veterinary nurse with kisses while getting her antivenom—proof that nothing can dull the shine of a heart this sweet and pure!

Look at this beautiful momma and staff. This little lady came in to have an emergency c-section. We are so grateful to help her through this journey. She’s going to have her hands full with SEVEN cute potatoes!!! The staff worked hard and it feels good to have that work pay off. ❤️❤️
