Meet Eloise! 🐢💚

We received a call about this African spurred tortoise after she was found wandering. We don’t know how long she had been out or what her story is, but we knew she needed help.

We kept her indoors for a few weeks to help reverse what appeared to be metabolic bone disease (MBD), and she has made amazing progress! As she’s gotten stronger, her spunky personality has really started to shine, which is how she got the name Eloise.

She’s now enjoying time with Reba, our Russian tortoise. And don’t mind the little bit of calcium on Reba’s face… she’s just a messy eater! 😂

Our grizzly and black bears took a break from their pool day to enjoy some fresh coconuts, and honestly, we’re all just trying to be on their level. 🐻🥥💅
