Can hardly believe it’s been 3 years since Zorro was diagnosed…..and in those 3 years we’ve been right beside so many of our clients who’s horses also have EOTRH and struggle with how to best treat it. There are large variations in the progression for each horse we meet and the answer is always to choose what is best for your horse’s quality of life. Happy to report that Zorro is quite contentedly living life on some pain relief and having a slow progression…..after taking out that enormous incisor! We are grateful to be able to help our clients along this path too. 🦷

Animal Health Alert: Florida is monitoring the confirmed exposure of Equine Herpesvirus Myeloencephalopathy at a WPRA event held Nov. 5-9 in Waco, Texas, and the Barrel Futurities of America event held Nov. 17-18 in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

No cases of EHV-1 associated with this outbreak have been identified in Florida.
