I have recently had a large volume of calls for meat pens and meat pen breeders and I'm still trying to contact everyone as I have time to provide assistance. Here at MMI Rabbitry we no longer breed any 6 class breeds(Himalayan Mini Rex are the same color as Californians but are a fancy breed not a market breed). That being said I do provide consulting for local meat pen and breeding rabbit exhibitors and will gladly assist you in your project. I also have files available by request for 4H and FFA groups/students. As always I highly recommend Livengood Feeds in Tomball and Sterling Bryant Cages in Channelview. MMI Rabbitry had a great time at the Pueblo, CO show despite less than ideal weather conditions. In the All Breed SCRBA Show we had multiple variety wins and MMI's Forte (granddaughter of MMI's Tiptoe and Potter's Joker)won Best of Breed in the first show. Congrats to our former customer Chris Barker on her BOB win in the second show with a gorgeous black senior doe. It was wonderful getting to visit with you and see how well last years juniors grew out! Another congratulations is due to our good friend Colleen Saunders on her BOS win at Polish Nationals under Piper Smith! The bunnies are happy to be home where is isn't snowing and fresh herbs grow in abundance.

All the bunnies are ok, we got some water in the barn but it has gone down now. We are sending prayers for our neighbors who did not fair so well. This is the view from the back of our barn, this is Little Cypress Creek overflow.

Congratulations to Klein ISD students on your great placings with MMI bred rabbits y'all did a great job with them. All rabbits bred by MMI were top 3 in their class against all breeds and included Grand and Reserve Champion Breeding Rabbit.

FOR SALE: MMI's Jolie black jr doe. Sired by BIS winning Cross B's Jackpot and out of MMI's J Trinity (out of Scotcha's JOS3 and by MMI's Three Dog Night) this girl has got a pedigree to die for, riddled with all of the big names. She's full bodied with great fur and will make someone proud either on the show table or in the breeding shed. I'm retaining her broken sibling for myself.

FOR SALE: MMI's Nic Nac jr black buck. Sired by Rose's Nico(double KT's Desperado and Triple KT's Moody Blues in 5 generations) and out of Kelly's Something Blue (Double hideaways Kmart). Nic Nac is a typey buck with a wonderful top line and good fur and an excellent shoulder. This little guy is gorgeous and I should be keeping him but I'm short on cages and himi's are my focus.
