Jax and Ralph started FIT class last week and already are practicing their tuck sit skills while out on walks! We are thankful their families shared these photos with us.
FIT classes are a fun way to challenge your pups! Exercises you learn are meant to be easy and fun but also a slight challenge. They help build confidence, balance, coordination, limb awareness and overall wellbeing.

The first weekend of April! Great way to celebrate Canine Fitness Month was with our most recent Gold Fit class graduates. Flynn, Mollee, Penny, Schmoopy and Maisey all graduated from not just Gold but also Bronze and Silver Fit classes!

Congratulations to our most recent Manners graduates! Taiyou, Gracie, Oakley, Coco, Rosie and Roo all succeeded in learning Basic Manners (and their AKC STAR puppy ribbons!). Bella, Brody, Chelsea, Daisy May and Peppa graduated from Advanced Manners and earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen ribbons!

Training isn’t always a marathon or long sessions. This morning I wanted to work with Kia and Willow getting comfortable with the FitPaws wobble board; but it also wasn’t just practicing that. In the five minutes we played around: Willow practiced “KLIMB” and “stay” on the KLIMB, Kia also practiced a down “stay”, I practiced working with my dogs separately (while still having both together), and we all practiced getting familiar with the wobble board. I didn’t get them on the board but that wasn’t the point; it was just getting them familiar with touching it, the noises it makes, and that it’s “unstable”. Tonight, we’ll spend a few more minutes doing the same and before you know it; you’ll see them balancing on it!
