UPDATE: ADOPTED!
Max is an 8-year-old German Shepherd weighing 81 pounds, and he’s a handsome senior gentleman with wonderful manners. He knows sit, shake, and lay down, and he’s respectful with other dogs, with no signs of food aggression or resource guarding. Max has a calm, steady personality and would make a loyal companion for someone who appreciates the wisdom and gentleness that comes with an older dog.
Max does have arthritis in his upper and mid back, so he’s looking for a home that can offer gentle activity, comfy resting spots, and a little extra love and care. He would do best in a home with older kids and no cats or small children, where he can relax and enjoy his golden years. If you’re interested in meeting Max, stop by Williamson County Animal Center today! We're open until 6pm.
