Chris Fisher is a former soldier and sailor who traveled the world in service to his country, finally settling in Dallas, TX. He is a cross-genre photographer who’s passion is lighting and storytelling. Chris’ style and creativity are constantly evolving as he believes, and instills in his students, that you never stop learning. There is always something new, something wonderful that you can apply

to your own craft. When not shooting he spends much of his time with his horses and playing with his feline editing assistants. He is also a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America.

I'm a graduate! Woot! Now that college is FINALLY done, time to focus on projects. I'll be starting up my blog again soon, but here's a first look behind the scenes of "The Game", a web series I'm developing.

This is all the parts for the police stun guns laid out for painting. The first layer of paint is done and I'll be doing weathering and detailing later.

Sometimes people can really surprise you. I was out location scouting tonight for the club scene in a short film I'm producing. I asked around Denton (a college town like Bowling Green, OH) at various places if we could shoot there. I got five places that were open to letting us shoot, no questions asked. Three of them have had UNT students shooting there on multiple occasions, so they're not expecting money out of this (which is good, because we don't have any).

Nice people in this town.

And so begins development . . .

For the next couple of months we'll be doing what's called development and pre-production. Basically, it's all the planning before any actual shooting begins. It's vital to make a good film.

Made it through the first round of voting! We have one more round of voting next weekend, then the final three scripts will be chosen.

So, I joined this new filmmaker group here in town. It's time to get back to where I started, moving pictures. Pitch day is in the couple weeks. I have three scripts to pitch. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully the group will decide to actually film one of them.
