What a whirlwind of a week at the 2026 Boykin Spaniel National Championship! We made the treck to Camden, SC this week to compete with some of the best Boykins around the country.

Rip, owned by Daniel Epley, finished 3rd out of 49 dogs in the intermediate class. Rip has spent quite a bit of his life here with us and I couldn’t be more proud of the dog he is becoming!

Unfortunately, Timber failed the heat check prior to the trial Friday morning so she was unable to compete. To say I was let down after driving 9+ hours is an understatement. But, to make the most of the trip while we were surrounded by the best studs in the country, we got two successful ties in a last ditch effort to keep a pup from her! So fingers crossed for a successful breeding in the near future!
