Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption! There is a process and we get back to you as soon as we can. Adoption fee includes a fully vetted kitten.

Gladys has left the building!! We love past adopters! I was lucky enough to have this wonderful couple reach out to me about Gladys after they lost their beloved dog a few months ago. What a holiday gift! Wishing Gladys well for her adjustment period to her new home! From rags to riches!

A grinchy reminder that The Grinch and Cindy Lou who will be at the Barrington Rumford Pet Express from 11-1 tomorrow Sat Dec 13th!! We will be taking some Grinchy Kittens with us! Fortunately no dogs BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL ADOPTED!!!

Everyone remembers Devon now, aka the Gator, who started out as a scrawny shelter pup that I just had to spring out of there because let's face it, shelters aren't exactly puppy paradise. Well, he's turned into a brainiac with all this enrichment training and now he's smart enough to grab water straight from his fridge. Check him out for yourself!!!

Wow just wow and may I say MUCH NEEDED! Thank you Lisa and David Cardente for your generosity this holiday season! The kids are very happy!! On to helping more RI animals in need!!! ❤️ I am proud to say at this time all my fosters found amazing forever homes but we will be at hard work assisting others in need very shortly. My heart is beating with JOY!!

Dear WWR,
We adopted from an out-of-state agency who told us our puppy was a small Chihuahua mix and would never be more than about 9 to 12 pounds. She arrived at 14 pounds July 5. We fell in love with her and still love her very much, but it is very clear that she is a pointer mix and is raring to go hiking and possibly hunting. Not possibly, she has great potential since she already points.
My heart breaks to give her up, but I can’t be selfish here. She is being severely held back. I can’t match her energy. I want to make sure she goes to a home with a family with children who are very active outdoors. And where she won’t be crated as much as she is now. It’s not fair to her.

I’m happy to provide as much information as I can and photos of her and she can stay with me until a suitable family is found.

Here is some info:
Maggie is a sweet and lovingly 8 month old puppy. We suspect she is a pointer mix and she does in fact have a hunting drive.
She is potty and crate trained. She is highly motivated to train with treats. Eager to learn and to please.

She is high energy when engaging in play and when outdoors. She is only the right fit for a very active family with knowledge of puppy behaviors and willing to continue training her.
