We are offering a six-year-old grade mare for purchase. If you are currently seeking a pleasant trail horse, we invite you to consider this opportunity. She consistently demonstrates good manners, including standing for mounting, crossing creeks and bridges, and riding nicely in the arena, where she picks up both leads. Recent dental work was completed this week. Videos can be found in the comments. Please contact Raymond at 434 579 3560 for further information. Four zero zero zero obo.

Since we were talking legs, let’s talk ringbone!

Ringbone is caused by concussion on the bone structure.

Horses that are shod are at risk. Why, because they can’t absorb shock like a barefoot horse. The hoof wall, due to the shoe, is receiving shock.

A barefoot horse, the digital cushion, lateral cartilage, frog, hoof mechanism all work as a team. They work to remove concussion, from the bones.

A barefoot hoof literally drops, expands, and morphs as it’s weighted. The shoe puts the hoof in a permanent state of contraction. All hoof mechanics is voided. The hoof can’t expand and contract. Nor push blood flow through the hoof.

I’ve had endless case studies. All the hooves I’ve rehabbed, the shod horses had ring bone and or side bone. I’ve rehabbed horses that were actually fused. They all came out sound.

Removing the shoes and rehabbing internal structures is the correction.

Bone puts down new bone under concussion.

The same can be said for the coffin bone. When a shoe is applied, concussion is removed from where it’s suppose to go. The coffin bone. Nature intended for the coffin bone and sole to carry the weight of the horse. When the weight is removed, the coffin bone loss starts. This is why you get bone loss and fractures in the coffin bone.

Do you wrap your horse's legs? Wrapping them is doing them a solid! It's like a shield during workouts and trips. After a workout, wrapping in standing wraps can help prevent their legs from puffing up and help with healing. Plus, it's like a cozy blanket that boosts blood flow.

Do you wrap during workouts, after, or both?
And what methods do you prefer?

Your horse can benefit from our magnawave treatments while in training. Even if they're not in training currently, we can schedule a session.
