If you’ve ever wondered what our rabbitry setup looks like, we’re currently working on our second outdoor bunny enclosure! πŸ°πŸ’•

Our first enclosure, Buckingham Palace πŸ‘‘, is home to the bucks, and our new enclosure, Versailles πŸŽ€, will be for the does!

We use 30” x 36” cages and run them together horizontally. One of my favorite things about this setup is NO trays!!! πŸ™Œ Everything falls through, which makes cleaning and upkeep soooo much easier.

Keeping everyone comfortable is priority during these Georgia summers β˜€οΈ We use porcelain tiles for cool places to flop, misters, and keep fans running to maintain airflow.

We’ve found this setup to be pretty low maintenance while still giving us the ventilation and airflow we really want for the buns. Versailles is slowly coming together and we’re looking forward to showing everyone the finished setup! πŸ₯ΉπŸ°πŸ’•

HOW?! When I started sharing our bunnies, I never imagined this many of you would be here following along. Thank you for every like, comment, share, message, and for loving these babies right along with me πŸ₯ΉπŸ°

I don’t think people always realize how much goes into raising hollands and breeding intentionally. It is definitely no walk in the park πŸ˜† there are SO many hours behind the scenes, loads and loads of research, evaluating babies as they grow, caring for everyone day in and day out, making sure everyone stays healthy and happy, running the business side of things, and constantly trying to make the next generation a little better.

There are awesome days and there are days that are downright HARD. But seeing the babies we’ve produced and watching them grow into beautiful lops nationwide makes all of it worth it πŸ’“

Meet Queen Bouncer πŸ‘‘πŸ€Ž

This girl is part of our shaded project and we are SO excited about her! She carries sable and dilute and has the bone, HEC and balance we’ve been wanting to bring into this line…..plus that beautiful full skirt πŸ‘

And as if that wasn’t enough…she’s basically a giant plush marshmallow πŸ˜‚ She just melts into your arms the second you pick her up and would happily stay there all day.
