Operating as usual
Maslow had a massage today! This was his third time having a massage. He’s still a young boy, only 3 years old. But since he does a lot of dog sports and he’s very active, I recently started adding regular massages to his care to make sure he’s in the best shape possible! He has an appointment every couple months or so, and every time he gets a little more comfortable with it and, dare I say, enjoy it! ❤️❤️❤️
Maslow’s first ever crazy 8s run!
He found 2 rats, did a tunnel and a climb for a total of 40 points. We will definitely be continuing with crazy 8s in the future!
This was his first run of the trial weekend and I think it was a good warm up for him!

✨APPRECIATION POST✨
Maslow is no where near perfect. He has flaws that we are still working on and his training can be a lot of work.
BUT he’s come so far in his short 3 years of life and we’ve accomplished so many things, from trick titles to sports training to commercials.
No he’s not perfect. But what dog is? He’s perfect to me. Everyday I can see all our hours of training dedication that we spent together. And we have nowhere to go but up ❤️

How did we spend our weekend? By playing barn hunt! Maslow has earned his Novice A title this weekend and I couldn’t be more proud! He also got first in 2 runs and second in another. He has exceeded my expectations!

Stay cool out there everyone! It’s a hot day here in Washington. Maslow and I are staying inside where there’s AC. We stepped out for a couple minutes to try out some new camera things I had got, but we ran quickly back inside!

Maslow and Lexi have their first barn hunt trial in March! Here’s Lexi having some practice for a novice run. A novice run consists of finding 1 rat (with empty and litter tubes also on the course), 1 climb, and a tunnel
