We are scheduling spay and neuter appointments far in advance our our clinic dates. We have already sent out all appointment confirmations for our August 29th and 30th clinic.

PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENTS when you receive the text or email. If they are not confirmed within one week of receiving the message, your pet will lose that spot and be put back on the bottom of our waitlist.

Text messages will come from ‭(530) 464-6964 when you are assigned an appointment time.

Emails will come from [email protected] with a subject line of: Your appointment for "PET'S NAME" is booked

You can text any questions to 530-464-6964 if you brought a pet to our March 2026 clinic or after you have signed up for our waitlist. We will have to add you to our system in order for us to be able to text via that number.

If you have not signed up for our surgery or large animal waitlist, please continue to text us at 707-405-0123. We are phasing out this number, so please be sure you have added our 530-464-6964 to your contacts for Covelo Clinic-UCD. The sooner you sign up your pet, the sooner it will get a surgery spot!

If you signed up online at bit.ly/CoveloClinic but did not get a text or email, your pet is still on our waitlist, however they did not get a spot at this time.

Spots for wellness are made through a lottery system. Sign up the day of the clinic by 9 am (you don't need to bring your pet with you) and our team will text you if you get a spot and again to let you know it's your turn! You can wait at home until we text you to come back with your pet.

All surgical spots for spays or neuters for March 28th and 29th, 2026 are full and our August 2026 clinic is filling up quickly. Our November 2026 dates have not been set yet. Our clinic has started using a new electronic records system to streamline our process.

PLEASE READ THE INFO BELOW if you are awaiting a surgery spot with our clinic. You will need to confirm your appointment to keep your spot!

Once we have a spot open, you will be contacted by email or text message to confirm your spot for surgery (small animal) or veterinary appointment (large animal).

Scheduled appointments will be sent via email from [email protected] with the subject line:
Your appointment for PET’S NAME is booked! Please mark this sender as safe to make sure these messages are not going into your spam folder.

Text messages are from ‭(530) 464-6964. Please add this number to your contacts so you know to reply to confirm your appointment when the text comes through!

Your appointment will be held for ONE WEEK after we send the appointment text or email and MUST be confirmed by clicking on the link in your message. If you do not confirm your appointment within one week of receipt, your appointment will be cancelled.

Your spot is NOT confirmed until you reply to that message! If you need to make changes to the pet that we have scheduled, you can reply to the appointment email.

Please watch for social media posts once clinic dates have been set.

We want everyone to come to their appointments this weekend-please follow these tips to make that happen!

Our clinic is town this weekend, Saturday, August 9th and Sunday, August 10th.

DON'T BE LATE! Check-in for cat spays, dog spays and dog neuters is 7 am Saturday and Sunday! Check in for cat neuters is 8 am on Saturday and Sunday.

We are using a new record keeping system so you will see text reminders coming from a 530 number and email reminders coming from [email protected].

Moving forward, you will receive an email when we schedule your appointment, as well as reminders 2 weeks and 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

There is also a link in the email and text reminders with a link to confirm your appointment. Please click on that link to confirm!

We can't wait to see everyone on Saturday and Sunday this weekend!

Our team will be in Covelo THIS Saturday, March 28th and Sunday, March 29th!

If your pet has a spay or neuter appointment please remember the following:
-Do NOT feed your pet after 9 pm the day before their appointment
-Keep your pet contained the night before your appointment so that you can bring them in at 7 am on appointment day
-Keep dogs on leash while waiting for your appointment
-If your dog is aggressive towards people or other dogs, please let us know before your appointment
-Keep cats in carriers

We are excited to be adding services for goats, sheep, pigs, mules, donkeys and horses to our March 2026 clinic. You will need to transport your animals to the clinic for services.

We will be offering basic wellness exams, vaccinations, hoof trims (barefoot only), tusk trims, castration, sheath cleaning and dental floats.

These services will have a recommended donation based on the package you choose.
Package 1: $100 donation
Package 2: $200 donation
Package 3: $300 donation

MARCH COVELO CLINIC UPDATES: Our next clinic is March 28-29.

WELNESS VISITS: Please arrive by 8:50 am on Saturday and Sunday to get signed up for our lottery for appointments. We will draw names and start seeing wellness pets at 9am. We are well staffed this trip and hope to see many pets.

SURGERY APPOINTMENTS: We are working on contacting everyone who received a surgery spot for your pet. We understand cell service has been out this week, but please reply as soon as possible.

LARGE ANIMAL APPOINTMENTS: We will be seeing large animals this trip! Please stay tuned for more information. Details to sign up for appointments will be shared soon.

We are getting excited about this weekend! We sent out reminder confirmations via text for all pets this on our spay and neuter list this morning. Please check your texts for those reminders and confirm that you will be there at your assigned date and time.

If you are unable to make your assigned appointment, please text 707-405-0123 to reschedule no later than 10 am Friday, March 28th.

Your spot is for YOU only and for the specific pet we have on our sign up sheet only. You can not give your spot away to a friend or family member.

If you don't show up or cancel your appointment before 10 am on Friday, your pet will be removed from our waitlist and you will need to sign them up again at bit.ly/CoveloClinic
