RDK Labrador Retrievers We are amateur handlers who build our own retrievers from the ground up with the philosophy of teach, train, & then test.

We typically purchase, raise, and train 1 - 2 puppies to the Started or Seasoned level each year.

Minks got a few puppy marks on water this evening. This little puppy loves to swim, she'll jump right in & swim around. We really like what we are seeing 👀 with these 2 Quid pups

Minks & Mouse are both swimming like like little fish 🐟 caught this quick video of Minks on her 4th swim across this area of the pond. Since they both just get in & swim on their own, we will introduce puppy marks on water next time.

Introduced Punk to the 7 bumper lining drill on water & she crushed it of course! This little puppy is truly amazing, she is 100% compliant, loves to work, & when she understands the assignment, she understands the assignment

Introduced Howie to the 7 bumper lining drill on water. Here are the last 3 bumpers. Go straight to the bumper you're sent to, take the line into the water, dont square up, don't cheat. He does swim a little fat on the way back but I did not worry about him making the choice to take more water on the way back. He chose to not get out early. I did bring him back and resend him on the last bumper because he was not taking the line to get in the water at the right point.
