🐾 **Meet Bruce – Your Future Best Friend** 🐾

Sometimes the best dogs come from the hardest beginnings… and Bruce is living proof of that.

Bruce didn’t have the easiest start in life. He spent far too much time in a crate and didn’t always get the care he deserved. But thanks to an incredible family who stepped in and gave him a second chance, his story is changing for the better every single day.

Since coming to train with us, Bruce has absolutely blossomed. He’s still just a baby—not even a year old—but you’d never know it by how hard he tries and how much love he has to give.

✨ He’s learned his basic commands like a champ
🐕 Walks nicely on a leash
🎯 Comes when called
🐾 Does great on outings
🐶 Gets along wonderfully with other dogs
🎾 Loves to play
💚 And is always ready for snuggles and kisses

Bruce has also put on some much-needed healthy weight and is thriving. He’s especially fond of kids and has been loving every second of playtime and cuddle time with them.

Now, we’ll be honest… this boy is VERY food motivated (we think he’s just making up for lost meals ❤️), which actually makes him a dream to continue training with.

Bruce is truly one of those dogs that just wants to love and be loved. The family who rescued him wishes they could keep him, but more than anything, they want to see him in a forever home where he can continue to grow, thrive, and be part of a family.

Happy birthday havoc. Today Mr fluffy turned 4 years old. He is absolutely the best pup and will be getting some venison and treats tonight after he finishes attending the daddy daughter dance with us.

We absolutely love sharing our k9’s with the community. We strive to serve the community in everything we do. The kids are our future and i think after today we have a bunch of tiny volunteers for doggy hide and seek.

NORTHERN TIER SEARCH & RESCUE – “READ ACROSS AMERICA”

Northern Tier Search & Rescue spent Monday 3/2/26 reading to Galeton School District Students to kick off "Read Across America". Local Galeton resident Louise Sztenderowicz with K9 Hank and Jordan Leete with K9 havoc from Coudersport are a part of the Northern Tier Search and Rescue team based out of Morris, PA. Lousie was glad to read a book about all types of working dogs, while Jordan led Hand and Havoc to greet the kids with paws....

We had such an amazing time at our first group class, and we can’t wait to do it again! These sessions are a pawsome way to work on obedience, leash manners, and calm social behavior — all while connecting with other dog lovers in the community.

**🐶 Good afternoon, everyone! A few small changes for tonight*

We wanted to send out a quick *pupdate* about tonight’s training session. I sent an email last night, but it seems it didn’t quite fetch its destination—so my apologies for the mix-up!

With how quickly the sun’s been setting, we realized our original 6–7 PM time will have us working in the dark before we know it. So, we’ll be getting an earlier start tonight! Our team will be fully set up and ready to roll by **5:00 PM**, and if possible, we’d love for you to arrive around **5:15 PM**. If you can’t make it that early, no worries—we’ll happily keep working as long as we can tonight.

We’ll also be making some small adjustments moving forward to ensure future sessions go smoothly (and aren’t cut short by the paws of darkness 🐾).

**Here’s what to bring and expect tonight:**

* We’ll have treat pouches available to *borrow* for those who don’t have one, along with some extra treats.
* Please bring some high-value treats that your pup absolutely loves—something that really makes their tail wag!
* All pups should arrive **on leash** and wearing a **collar they can’t wiggle out of**.
* When you arrive, stop by the table to sign in, grab a treat pouch, and get your assigned number. Then head to the cone with your number and get ready to have some fun!

After we run through the basic exercises planned for this evening, we’ll open things up for questions or specific behavior challenges you’d like help with.

We’re so thrilled to see this program coming to *furition* after all the hard work alongside the Borough of Coudersport and its wonderful community members. Our goal is simple: to serve, to give back, and to make a difference—no matter how big or small—in the community we proudly call home.

We can’t wait to see you and your four-legged students tonight for some pawsitive, tail-wagging training time! 🐾

🐾 Saturdays Are for Puppy Cuddles & Second Chances 🐾

We work with veterans to fund, place, and train service dogs for those who gave so much. But we love our local rescues and partner with them.

Every other Saturday, we team up with Teacher’s Pet Rescue to make a difference in the lives of dogs who are waiting for their forever homes. Whether it's puppy cuddling, basic obedience training, or simply showing them love, our goal is to help every dog feel safe, happy, and adoptable.
We work with dogs of all ages—from wiggly puppies to wise seniors—teaching leash skills, building trust, and giving them the human companionship they need to thrive.

Some of the rescue dogs are waiting to sit on a porch and watch the sunset, or greet kids after school with kisses and tail wags or walk with you after a long day at work. No matter their path, every dog deserves a warm bed, a loving family, and a second chance.
