Hello everyone,
This is Remington. He’s 1 years old and a German shepherd mix. He’s very small at like 39 pounds and He won’t grow much bigger at all. My opinion is he’s completely done growing. He’s such a sweet heart. He’s been at a loved home but the family has gone through some very hard things in the last couple years and have a new baby on top of it and they want Remington to have more one on one attention. He’s very good with kids. He’s actually from a house super close to the kennel and often times I’ll be out on the porch and what do ya know it’s Remington coming over for a visit. He loves everything. He super well mannered. Also upon my assessment he’s got pretty decent recall. He only ventures over here because he enjoys getting our attention and our dogs since lately his family had been overwhelmed with life events. Please keep your mean “if they love him they should make it work” comments away. Trust me I say that all the time but this family gets a hard pass for the simple fact they still provide him a loving home even while dealing with life. They are wonderful people. If your looking for a rescue that still gives you puppy love but is old enough to be a great house dog then reach out to us!

Here is some stage two work where we really focus on the k9 having a nice equal healthy latch with dialed in focus.
I’m making this post so people understand how protection training works and also the stages. Stage one is teaching the k9 to bite and stand their ground then we make sure the k9 serves a good latch to the bite sleeve. Toward the end of stage one we work on targeting from a distance, release and latch and hold until the command to let go is given. That is stage one. Stage one takes at minimum 10 weeks and can be up to 15 weeks
Stage two. Is the tightening of these skills as well as vehicle intro-diction this stage is another 15 weeks, then we have stage 3 as well as continued training, stage 3 is about out it all together and running a functioning intro-diction team. Stage 3 is an additional 15 weeks. Sometimes each stage can take even longer if we are training your existing k9 and not a k9 that we bred for the purpose of protection work. There has been some confusion with this and having people think this can be completed quick. The total time for all these stages is between a years and a half and two years. I also was told recently by someone they could go to this other kennel and get protection work done for $400. My prices are super cheap at between 700 to 1100 per stage and I can guarantee if you go to a place that’s going if to do it for $400. It’s not going to get done so save your money. Below are some examples of me doing stage protection work since I’ve had my expertise question by a single individual only. We now have the arena ready to go. This is such a crucial asset for any kennel in the NW. every year there are a ton of cancellations due to weather but with the arena ready to go that won’t be an issue anymore.
We also do hourly rentals just in case your look not for a place for your pup to play during the winter weather so contact us if interested.

Dumped twice and feeling defeated, this guy was covered in fleas, completely emaciated, hook worms, torn and raw pads on his feet. I’m happy we brought him in to start his first functions in a world that loves him. From this day through the rest of his life he will be loved like he deserves. He will rehab here for a while then we will start the journey to find him the best home. He never has to worry again as his new home will be severely vetted as we do with all of our rescues. If you want to start the application and Interview process send us a message. It will be at least 2 months before he will leave our kennel because we need to get his medicals done and we want to give him a good amount of time to get love in our house and learn to be apart of the family environment he deserves. He’s truly is an angel if a dog. Good with all dogs, cats and people. Also if you would like to sponsor his journey reach out to us! His life starts now.
These two sweet baby girls are looking for their forever homes ❤️ they are both 7 month old female pit puppies. They have already come really far in their basic obedience! They can go to separate homes or the same home. They would do best in a home with no small animals.
There is a small rehoming fee to ensure they don't go to anyone with ill intentions. Anyone interested will need to be vetted to make sure they're a good fit. All of our rescues come with free training forever!

We got a call from C.A.R.E.S rescue in Burrien the other day regarding two 6 month old male German shepherds that were abandoned by a serial animal abuser/ repeat 🔁 offender and terrible person.
