Rescues available!read for details!
Hello everyone. Classes cancelled until Monday unless you’ve made arrangements personally pick ups will continue normally. Unfortunately we’ve reached the end of all options to keep our rescue doors open are are going to have to go into a controlled wind down of operations meaning we need to get the rescues we have into capable homes or foster homes as we would prefer not to send them to another facility if it’s not in their best interest. WA is a no kill state but that is also situational as we are a rescue that takes in reactive dogs where some have a history of reactivity to other dogs or animals and a couple of them are selective with people. Our mission was to rescue dogs with behavioral issues and rehab them and rehome if possible and if not possible give them a safe and comfortable life here so that they don’t end up in a bad situation. We’ve moved a lot of dogs from location to location as we’ve spent the last 7 years expanding our space and upgrading to better properties until we were able to buy this place a couple years ago. We even furthered our program to put some of those dogs into our protection work program to make what people see as their weakness, their strength and give them at least control and understanding of that job. I’m going to list available dogs and their info and general history. If any listed dog seems like they would be a good fit To you or any home, foster or program that you work with please reach out for by phone 2064096747 (call or text).
By controlled wind down we mean we are doing this a very particular way to limit unneeded traffic and insure that the very best fitting situations are getting our time and resources as we have a limited amount of right now so I will explain that a bit more. We are purposely not listing pictures with every dog as we want you to see the Info on the dog to insure you check the major boxes before moving forward. To explain more some of these(all of them to us) dogs are really high lined gorgeous pure bred dogs that were in some cases very expensive but they wound up in unfortunate situations. We understand these breeds and a lot of people get in over their head because a dog is the breed they want, the look they want or other things like akc papers. People making rash choices and getting in over their head are the reason some of these dogs are in the situation they are in. That is why we will send pictures during what we will call phase 2 of our wind down application process. Phase 3 will be approved and vetted homes or programs will schedule a visit to do final work up and assessments with phase 4 being the final adoption or transfer. We will also entertain transfer and sale of property and rescue for anyone more interested in that kind of project. We are waiving all profit from the property transaction as we are going to prioritize the wind down for the move or all these dogs/cats in our system meaning the property and assets will be sold at our property ballance and nothing more. Will consider lease to own if the vetted buyer needs a little more time to get that done but that situation would be heavily vetted and heavily contracted. Our adoption rates will remain a donation of your choice that goes to food for our rescues until the wind down process is complete and obviously no cost for transfers to other non profit programs or organizations
Available dogs
Macho & Narla (8 yo black and reds/tan gsd’s) : macho and Narla are 8 years old and will need be be transferred as a pair as they came from a very prestigious and one of the highest quality GSD kennels in the world “Gunbil German shepherds” a German kennel that has also moved their main kennel to Colorado. And they have been together since they were purchased by a family at 9 weeks old. They are so bonded. They are not good with other dogs. We have had them around my personal pack as after being with us for 5 years I had excepted we would let them live out the rest of their life together at our place in their own building and area and sometimes in the house. We would keep their status as only put around other dogs with a proper professional. But as far as humans they are seem less they are great with all people. Kids and honestly strangers. They very much just like people In general. We let them run on our land unfenced with little to no supervision as they aren’t going anywhere
Bowe( 2 year old male brindle mastiff): Bowe is a giant lovable goofball. At 160 pounds and almost 4 feet tall he is a gorgeous and lovable boy and dreams of being a couch potato or a lap dog that absolutely doesn’t fit in your lap. Bowe has had issues with other dogs but is great to his people when bonded. He bonds super fast but he is mouthy like a big puppy. Not in a bite you kinda way. We did start him in our IPO bite program as he loves sleep work mostly because he just wants to play tug of war. Has the base to continue with protection work of be a home dog. Because of his size, youth and wants put your whole torso in his mouth in the most loveable way I would keep his status as to a home without kids or other dogs unless a program or professional.
Mamba(4 year old all black male gsd):
Mamba was one of the most unfortunate cases we’ve come across. Owners move and left him chained to a tree. Fortunately the neighbors were aware and were giving him food trying to earn trust to get him to a place where he could be moved and transported to what ended up being our rescue and facility. He was muzzled and wanted to absolutely eat my face off. After a couple hours of warming up to him I removed the muzzle after seeming the signs I need and he melted into a giant baby and has been that way every since. I takes him a second to bond to anyone but once he is done it’s absolutely predictable and just a big love bird. We had one family with kids come visit at about a year and a half old and he was great right away but the other visitors he reacted similar to how he did originally so we will fire keep his status as Red, being experienced owners, trainers or programs only. We did eventually start him in our IPO bite training course because he’s tug motivated to provide a way to exorcise those reactive qualities he has and give them some order. Since then he’s made it through out introduction phase of IPO and would make a wonderful protection working dog.
** green status dogs (cleared with all people/kids, cats and dogs**

She’s a sweet heart) has lived in the house of the kennel manager the whole time with his dogs since she came here at 9 months old. No issues or problems good with all people dogs and cats. We let her run in our unfenced area. She’s a love boat and only about 14 inches tall and 35 pounds.
Star ( small mixed breed, German shepherd, micro pit, unknown).
She’s a wonderful puppy, we have let her run with the other dogs in our unfenced area, cuddle and food motivated. Most likely won’t exceed 28 pounds.
