🐾 We are NOW accepting vendor applications!
If you are a local maker, artist, pet business, rescue, food vendor, or small business looking to join us, now is the time to apply before spaces fill up.
💛 We also know that public events can feel overwhelming for some dogs with big feelings, anxiety, or reactivity. Because of that, we will soon be opening registration for private haunted photo sessions for dogs that may not be comfortable attending during event hours.

☀️ Summer Starts Now — Longer Days, Warmer Weather, and More Adventures Ahead 🐾

The first day of summer is finally here, and we are ready for sunshine, patio hangs, sniffy walks, enrichment adventures, and all the fun that comes with the season. Summer can be such a wonderful opportunity to strengthen your relationship with your dog through shared experiences and positive exploration of the world around them.

As the weather warms up, remember that confidence building often happens through simple moments — exploring a new trail, practicing calm behavior at an outdoor café, learning to settle during community events, or simply enjoying quiet time together in the backyard. Training is not just about cues. It’s about helping dogs feel safe, successful, and connected.

🎓👃 Scent Work Level 1 Group Graduation with Chey! 👃🎉

This Scent Work Level 1 group worked incredibly hard learning the foundations of canine nose work, and we could not be prouder of their progress! 🐾 From first searches to building confidence and independence, these dogs learned how to trust their noses and problem solve with enthusiasm.

Scent work is such a fun and enriching activity for dogs of all ages and personalities. Watching these teams celebrate successful finds together was the best part. 💛

⚠️ Pet Fair Cancellation Notice ⚠️

Due to the expected heat tomorrow, the Pet Fair scheduled for Saturday, June 20th from 12 to 3 at Resolu Cellars has been canceled for the safety and comfort of both dogs and people 🐾☀️

We know many of you were looking forward to coming out, and we truly appreciate the support for our local pet community and vendors 💛

✊🏽 Honoring Freedom, Reflection, and Community — Juneteenth 🐾

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the resilience, strength, and contributions of Black Americans throughout history. Juneteenth is both a celebration and a reminder that freedom, equity, and justice require ongoing action and community care.

At Jenn’s Dogs, we believe strong communities are built through compassion, respect, education, and creating spaces where people feel safe and supported. The work of building a kinder world extends beyond dog training. It shows up in how we advocate for one another, how we listen, and how we continue learning together.
Jenn’s Dogs will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth as our team takes time to reflect and recharge. We hope everyone has a safe and meaningful holiday weekend. ❤️🖤💚

Summer is here and our next available dog training classes are filling quickly 🐶☀️ Whether you’re starting with a new puppy, building better public manners, or trying a new enrichment activity like scent work, now is the time to grab your spot ✨🐕

🐾 Our structured group classes focus on real life skills using science based, force free training. Small class sizes allow teams to build confidence, communication, and reliability in a supportive learning environment 🧠💛

Join us this Saturday at 10 AM on Zoom for our next Virtual Enrichment Series, where we’ll be exploring Passive Enrichment with a focus on visual and auditory enrichment 🌿👀👂

This session is all about slowing down, observing the environment, and helping our dogs engage with the world in calmer, quieter ways. Enrichment doesn’t always have to be high energy — sometimes learning how to be still, observant, and thoughtful is just as important 💛

We’ll discuss ways to:
👀 Encourage visual observation
👂 Utilize calming auditory enrichment
🧠 Engage the brain without constant physical activity
✨ Support decompression and emotional regulation
