I am going to gift 1 trial month of barn rats club to a new client! $225 value. Barn Rats program is a program I established a couple years ago to teach grooming, riding and all things Equestrian. Kids learn how to handle, grooming, tack, ride and care for horses. This group meets mostly weekends 10-20 hours per month (depending on the month). This is a tuition based program that helps fund the horses at the farm all while teaching our youth so many fundamentals. Not only are they learning to ride horses, they are learning confidence building skills, independence, team building, responsibilities and more. This is the group for the kids that have never stopped talking about horses. They eat, sleep and breath horse. (No matter how much u try it wont go away)
Right now I have an intermediate group going for those who can independently tack and ride thier horse. I will start a small beginner group Feb 1st. To be considered for this huge christmas gift you must have the potential student write a paragraph as to why they would like to be selected to join barn rats. What would it teach them? Why do they want to join? How long have they been interested in horses/riding horses? Anything they can think of that would make me think they should be selected to join. Good luck!
