If you’re looking for some things to do this morning you’re in luck! There are so many great people out doing what they love, waiting for you to support their small businesses.
If you’d like to spend the day wandering, Walker Honey Farm has their huge artisan market starting at 0900. Fresh meats, baked goods, our favorite sourdough with STSA Sourdough, and more.
If you want to keep it low key, you have a market in Lampasas with Mama’s Got Buns (Also the HH market this week) and her cinnamon rolls you NEED. We aren’t using that word sparingly this week, it holds a lot of power, but you NEED to go grab a pack and enjoy a warm cup of tea with your feet up later. Yummy Little Plants has the best microgreens. Iykyk. Microgreens hold so much punch in a tiny package. While you have plants on the mind (I know I do!), go grab a tree to plant for Arbor Day tomorrow. gringogardens is the place for all things green! If you have been around Ellis (the amazing owner of our favorite Lampasas Nursery) for any time, you’ll hear his voice too- “You need a tree! Its time to plant trees!” He’s right guys. It’s that time.

Everything looks amazing this week. Her goods can also be found at the new charcuterie small business, Graze Craze - Killeen, TX. Two birds, one stone.
Still need a few things? The Harker Heights Farmers Market has it. Del Sol Nursery and Farms has all the transplants you don’t see anywhere else. We got culantro a few weeks back and I swear no one here even knows what that is. “It’s cilantro!” -no my friends, it’s a more heat tolerant, no soap tasting, perfect addition to your recipes. I have grown it for years and it’s life changing. The owner is super sweet and knowledgeable too, give them a shot.
