Ava is back in my care. 🥲 But that’s okay, Ava is a such an easy going girl and a joy to have around. ❤️ But in order to help other shelter dogs, we have to find Ava a home of her own. 🏠
Here’s all the things you should know about Ava:
✅ Can live with men, women, and children.
✅ Can live with dogs of all sizes.
✅ Ava’s likes: sunbathing, naps on the couch, and neck scratches.
✅ Ava loves going on walks.
✅ Ava does well greeting new people coming into the home.
✅ No potty accidents.
✅ Learning her basic commands.
Ava is such a great family dog and as resilient as they come. Ava comes from a traumatic background of being rescued from a hoarding case then subsequently lived at the shelter for over a year.
Ava’s one “negative” if you can really even call it that, is you have to earn your relationship with Ava and her trust. Any adopter will need to put in the effort to provide Ava with structure, guidance, and work on gaining her trust in the first week. This is all easy to do with a daily routine that includes walking her, follow the leader, hand feeding, and down time in her crate. After that, you get the ultimate reward of a loyal companion that is easy, gentle, smart, and friendly.
Ava comes with free post-adoption training and her crate. ❤️
