Happy Trails Farm Aussies We raise, breed and train ASCA/AKC Registered Breed Standard Australian Shepherds here at Happy Trails Farm Aussies. We do require a deposit on our puppy's.

Our goal is to breed genetically clear healty aussies. I spend a lot of time searching for my aussies for my breeding program. This down payment is to hold the puppy for you. It is a non refundable deposit. Should you decided not to get your puppy then we will keep your deposit and relist your puppy. If on the other hand something were to happen to your puppy. You of course would get a full refund

. We put a lot of money into each and every puppy and other people prefer to buy little puppy's so this puppy may not get sold for awhile. So please make sure you really want a puppy and are financially and emotionaly ready for one.

Someone is definitely missing out.
Why is it that most turn away from the black Aussies? Color doesn’t change the integrity or the intelligence of this breed. They are all amazing. Some just prefer the color rather than the breed itself. Yes the color when it comes to breeding makes a difference. But when you are purchasing an Aussie to just have the best dog ever. My opinion. Just makes no sense.
The black Aussies are also amazing.🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️❤️

Despite its name, the breed was developed in the United States in the 1800s, where ranchers needed a smart, agile, and tireless herding dog. The “Australian” part of the name likely came from Basque shepherds who arrived from Australia with their working dogs, which helped shape the breed. 🐑💨

Aussies became famous for their unmatched herding ability, boundless energy, and keen intelligence—earning a place as indispensable partners on farms and ranches. Recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1993, they’ve also shined in dog sports, search-and-rescue, and therapy work, proving their versatility far beyond the pasture.
