Fantastic job by Grunt Deer Recovery LLC helping locate one of Lake Erie Griffons pups(Jake) who got lost last night after taking off after a few deer. We brought Dakota(mom) out to help find him, and of course scold him for being a bad puppy haha. We sure are glad he's back home safe with his family.

Huge milestone for Lake Erie Griffons! At just 7 months old, Quinn has officially earned her Junior Hunt title—and we couldn’t be more proud.

Quinn is showing all the drive, instincts, and natural ability you’d expect… and it’s no surprise when you look at her bloodline. Following right in the footsteps of her mother, Dakota, she’s proving to be something special.

This is what we’re all about at Lake Erie Griffons—developing young dogs into confident, capable hunting partners.

This weekend was a special one.

Quinn got to hunt alongside her mom, Dakota, for her very first two hunts — and what a start she had. 35 birds in two days. Not bad for just 6 months old.

She did amazing, and watching her learn from Dakota out there in the field was something I won’t forget. So proud of these two. Looking forward to many more seasons and memories with them both.

Truly some incredible dogs. 🐾

Got Quinn out for the first time with her mother today. She did quite well, backed Dakota from a good distance and held point well. Not bad for just 6 months old. First hunt for them as a pair this upcoming weekend.
