Another happy ending from our friends at Rood & Riddle

Veteran racehorse Arson Squad was released today from RREH. The 9yo gelding underwent arthrodesis surgery after an injury ended his long racing career. Arson Squad will enjoy his retirement at Old Friends, a retirement facility for TBs, (www.oldfriendsequine.org) where he will be visited by racing fans and enjoy all the peppermints and carrots he can eat.

Got one late last night that was an alpaca attacked by a bear. The bear climbed into the paddock with about 12 alpacas in there and got one of them pretty badly. First time we’ve gotten a call like that. Let’s hope the little guy pulls through and has a good day!
