April is a lifelong pet owner whose pets have included dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, turtles and even snakes. She has lived with dogs for over 30 years and has spent time volunteering at a local dog rescue. In addition to her work with dogs, April has been a massage therapist for the past 20 years and has recently started using her massage skills and experience with pets to help manage a v

ariety of issues that our pets can experience both physically and mentally. April started Healthy Pets NH in 2009 with the aim of providing pet owners with training and education in emergency and wellness care for pets. Her goal was to help pet owners to create safer, healthier and happier lifestyles for their pets. She is certified through Pet Tech which is the only international company that exists exclusively to provide training in CPR, First Aid and care for pets to pet owners and pet professionals. After 5 years of being a mobile classroom, April has expanded Healthy Pets NH into a canine wellness center where dogs can get the wellness care that they need in the form of physical therapy, chiropractic, massage, reiki and other holistic and traditional services. April draws from the knowledge and experience of other local vets, dog trainers/behaviorists, groomers, bodyworkers and nutritionists to create activities and classes that encourage a bond with our pets that is based on respect and understanding. April’s goal is to create better relationships between animals and humans through the proper education of both species.

Two Dogs Missing in Woodsville NH - “Remy” is a male Mixed Breed, yellow/white, 6 years, 42 pounds. He is wearing a collar and is microchipped. “Lexi” is a female Black Lab, 2 years, 65 pounds. She is wearing a collar with tag and is microchipped. Both dogs are friendly. Missing since 10/2/2025 from Tree Top Estates and Swiftwater Road. Update : Home safe and uninjured !

Concord NH : These two dogs were seen around the area of Hannah Dustin monument / Penacook Historical Society and then in the area of Sewalls fall Road. One dog (possibly both) has been hit by a vehicle and then they ran into the nearby woods .

Bethlehem, NH – Two Terrified Shepherds

A male and female white German Shepherd have been seen roaming in Bethlehem, NH. They are clearly terrified, still out on the run, and in desperate need of safety.

We are overwhelmed by the growing number of dogs in crisis across New Hampshire. No dog should be left wandering, scared, and at risk. These shepherds deserve better than fear and uncertainty.
