🐾 How Do You Know It’s Time for a Grooming Appointment? 🐾

As pet owners, we see our dogs every day, so sometimes it’s hard to notice when they’re overdue for a groom! Here are a few signs that your pup may be ready for a visit to the salon:

✂️ Their coat is looking shaggy or uneven.
Hair growing over the eyes, around the paws, or covering sanitary areas can affect your dog’s comfort and visibility.

🐕 Matting is starting to form.
Mats can hide close to the skin, especially behind the ears, under collars, in armpits, and around the tail. Matting can become painful and even lead to skin irritation or infection.

👃 They have a “doggy odor” that won’t go away.
A bath can help remove dirt, oils, and allergens that build up over time and contribute to odor.

🐾 Their nails are clicking on the floor.

👂 Their ears look dirty or have a smell.
Routine ear cleaning can help reduce buildup and allow early detection of potential issues.

🌿 They’re tracking in more dirt than usual.

📅 You can’t remember their last groom.
Most dogs benefit from grooming every 6–8 weeks, depending on their coat type, lifestyle, and grooming goals.

✨ Grooming appointments allow us to check for skin issues, lumps, ear concerns, and other things that might otherwise go unnoticed.
