Although the Chinese government has "banned" the Yulin Dog and Cat Meat Festival, the local government in Yulin cannot keep legitimate businesses from cooking the animals for the solstice in June.

We need to enforce this ban so that more innocent dogs and cats are not cooked/boiled alive.

Let's make a promise this year to focus on shutting down puppy mills. We have overflow in dog shelters and drugged puppies in pet stores. The puppy mill industry has profited from the vanity of purebred dogs and the lack of animal rights being enforced.
