I apologize for delay in getting a Convention sales list posted - I am going to get it done no later than Tuesday - these will be a select few rabbits I have entered in the Mini Rex Open show.
I will also offer some private treaty that can be picked up or meet at local shows in November. I require a deposit to hold.
*I did not do a consignment to BLT auction in October due to unforeseen situation & can't do November sale as I will be at ARBA Convention

I am going to post the rabbits I will consigning at BLT for next Saturday's sale (10/18) in next few days. Several would make nice brood animals - Many of these rabbits have the national winning Mini Rex breeder's pedigrees in their background (Malibu, King, ARS, and many other well known rabbitries). Please note I am no longer providing pedigrees for these rabbits - if interested in a pedigree there will be a $10 charge (unless sale price is $50+ with proof from BLT). I will provide info on each rabbit (DOB, etc) I will also be offering a select few rabbits for Convention sale at private treaty. Those rabbits will be posted here by next Weds. I will be offering mostly broken tort, broken black & black in each group).

I'm going to admit this summer was one of the most challenging I've ever had raising rabbits. I lost my Czech Frosty buck in June when we had that nearly 100 degree spell - that was devastating for sure!
Then I had several mystery deaths in my Mini Rex juveniles (born April - July 5) - I lost 4 total of that age group. Then I lost my remaining blue brrod doe in August. I don't know if that was a combo of heat & something else. I've been hearing that I'm not the only breeder that lost more than normal. Actually, I lost more rabbits this summer between juvenile age & brood/show stock than I have total in over 8 years of raising Mini Rex. Here's hoping that terrible phase is over!

I will likely be consigning any rabbits that don't make "sale list" cut to BLT's October sale. They aren't cull rabbits but they aren't what I want to represent my rabbitry on a national level. I will no longer be offering full pedigrees for rabbits sold at BLT. If you purchase one of my rabbits at BLT & want to purchase the full pedigree, I will be charging a $10 fee for a full 4 generation pedigree.

Ellipsa (so named for the 3 dots on her face) A Freckles's daughter out of Irwin. I kept debating about keeping her because she was her last litter & one of few daughters I kept over years. I am glad I kept her now but it was a real predicament for awhile. If only she had grown right when she was young!! If I can keep her from messing up her coat once her coat recovers & gain some more flesh & weight she might go to some fall shows & Convention. Anybody else have "problem" rabbits that have had struggles & eventually blossom at the right time? Something just told me to hold onto this doe.

Imo the best of Selena's 3 (Black) out of Theo - @ 2 mos old as well. Definitely keeping this one to see how it develop...

Imo the best of Selena's 3 (Black) out of Theo - @ 2 mos old as well. Definitely keeping this one to see how it develops. Just hope the stray whites molt out of its adult coat - may be the one flaw I have noticed with Theo's litters so far on the brokens.
