Porkchop's Phat Farm Porkchop's Phat Farm is a (soon-to-be) pot-bellied pig sanctuary. We will keep you all updated on our progress.

Mission Statement:

Our goal is to provide a safe haven for abandoned or unwanted pot belly pigs and provide them with the medical attention they need, as well as the love and attention they deserve. Kenneth and Aimee Shaw, owners of Shaw Pit Bull Rescue, have realized there is a big need for fosters or rescues of pot-bellied pigs, lately. Since they have recently acquired a much larger piece of

land, and have the space, they have decided to open a PBP sanctuary to help those in need. The pit bull rescue will be expanding, as well; and a public dog park and a large walking path around the entire property are also in the plans. The pigs will, of course, be housed in a separate area from the adopt-a-bulls; and no interaction between the two will ever be permitted. As of right now, we are only in the very beginning stages of planning and fundraising.

🐾 $5 Friday for the Farm 🐾

Hey, beloved pit bull community! We need your incredible support now more than ever. Our heartwarming Phat Farm, filled with adorable piggies, playful goats, and charming chichis, is facing a financial crisis, and we're afraid we won't make it without your help.

We want to emphasize that we are incredibly grateful for all the love and support you've shown us in the past. We know you're passionate about pit bulls, and we appreciate every single one of you who has supported our cause. Now, we come to you with a plea, a call to action to extend that love beyond the pit bulls and help us care for the other wonderful animals in our sanctuary.

This month has been incredibly challenging for our Phat Farm family. Our little piggies, goats, and chichis are struggling to find sponsors, and they desperately need your help to keep them safe, happy, and healthy. We've always tried to let them slide by and focus on their sponsorships every other month, but recent expenses have left us with no choice but to reach out to you all.

We've had unexpected veterinary bills amounting to $730 for essential hoof and teeth trims, and on top of that, Abbie, one of our beloved chichis, required a critical spay surgery, costing $880.

This is where you come in, our wonderful community. Your support means the world to us and these animals. By sponsoring a Phat Farm resident, you not only provide them with the care they need but also show them that someone cares deeply about their well-being. We truly cannot do this without you, and your generosity will make all the difference for these adorable creatures.

Wilma was dumped off, after being given away (or threatened to become supper)...

NOBODY wanted them.

The Phat Farm took them in - and they will live out their lives with us.
