Columbus Cat Catchers 2023 Cbus IN, Senior Project advocating for the health of stray cats by actively doing TNR 🩷🐈

12/14/2023

We had the Columbus Cat Catchers stop by this week with some donations! They donated handmade cat beds and $237!

Thanks to their senior project, they have helped fix 22 cats in our community! We congratulate these girls on their hard work and wish them the best in the future.

Thank you, Columbus Cat Catchers! 🐈🐾🐈‍⬛

Today we donated our leftover money ($237) to Bartholomew County Humane Society, multiple cat beds, and wet cat food!

‼️⚠️ We are not taking any more strays ⚠️‼️
⚠️ We are reaching the end of our project⚠️
As we are a senior project, our deadline is November 13th to finish all of our goals. We have 2 more TNR trips left and then we have to say goodbye to Columbus Cat Catchers.
We hope a rising senior takes our project next fall to continue helping community cats.
All of the support has been greatly appreciated. We thank everybody for following us through our journey!
So far we have trapped, fixed, vaccinated, and returned 17 felines! Our goal was just 15 cats! After our next 2 trips, we hope to make it to 27!
Thank you to everybody who has supported us!🐱🩷

We have all fallen into the trap of wanting to get that little female cat spayed before she has kittens so much that we forget about all the tom cats that will help her make kittens. The truth is that male cats can father more kittens in one week than a female can produce in a whole year! Plus, a neuter surgery is quicker and less painful than spay surgeries! Ultimately, male and female cats both benefit greatly from spay/neuter. Males and females will both have improved overall health and weight gain and live longer lives once they have been altered. The moral of the story is that EVERY outdoor cat deserves to be spayed or neutered and vaccinated to live their best life.
