🚨 CMHS IS KILLING OUR DOGS: INVESTIGATE NOW 🚨
I’m blowing the whistle on the Central Missouri Humane Society. "Low-cost" is not a license to mutilate animals or ignore life-threatening complications. I have documented proof of medical malpractice ending in dead pets and near-fatal internal bleeding.
SHARE THIS POST NOW. We need to reach every family in Columbia that has been silenced. One report is a complaint; fifty is an investigation. If they did this to you, don't just be mad—make it legal.
CHOOSE THE MESSAGE THAT FITS WHAT THEY DID TO YOU:
A) SURGICAL MALPRACTICE (Internal Bleeding):
"I am requesting a formal investigation into CMHS for veterinary malpractice and violations of 20 CSR 2270-4.041. My dog suffered life-threatening internal bleeding after a surgery performed by CMHS staff. When I reported the emergency, I was denied a physical assessment and told to use a 'heating pad.' This gross negligence nearly cost my dog her life."
B) MEDICAL NEGLECT (Lisa’s Law):
"I am requesting a formal investigation into CMHS for animal neglect under RSMo 578.012. This facility routinely refuses to provide standard post-operative pain management, resulting in unnecessary suffering and permanent physical deformities/scarring. This is a failure to provide the 'Adequate Care' required by Missouri law."
C) PUBLIC HEALTH RISKS (Parasites/Sickness):
"I am requesting a formal investigation into CMHS for violations of the Animal Care Facilities Act (ACFA). I adopted a dog from this facility that was infested with zoonotic parasites so severe it resulted in human hospitalization. This facility is a public health risk and is failing the sanitation and disease control standards required by the State of Missouri."
D) UNETHICAL CONDUCT (Euthanasia):
"I am requesting a formal investigation into the professional conduct of the veterinary staff at CMHS. During a euthanasia procedure, staff forcibly removed my pet from my presence against my pleas, violating the professional and ethical standards of the Missouri Veterinary Medical Board."
E) ADMINISTRATIVE DECEPTION (Waitlists/Intake):
"I am requesting an investigation into CMHS for deceptive business practices. I was intentionally misled regarding intake status and waitlists, resulting in a crisis that endangered my animals. This facility is failing its mission as a tax-exempt organization."
