Some things people don’t tell you when becoming a breeder, is how hard it will be to let some puppies go.
If you didn’t know, it was very difficult to find Zoe (formerly Regan) a good, solid home. We had many people interested, but the timing just didn’t line up. We knew if someone would just meet her, they’d fall in love. Well, about 2 months ago, we got an inquiry. That’s when we met Julian and Janna. My mom was talking to them on a phone call, and that’s when we found out. If everything worked out, Zoe would be going to Thailand. Hearing more about their lifestyle, we learned that Zoe would be traveling all over the world. We were so excited, but sad at the same time. You eventually become attached to a puppy that stayed an extra 2 1/2 months, especially my parents, and Trax.
Fast forward to yesterday (3/5). My mom and I drove down to Dallas, TX to deliver Zoe to Julian. And after Zoe warmed up to Julian, you could tell it was meant to be. Seeing Zoe give Julian her signature “unlimited amount of kisses”, we knew it was a perfect match. My mom and I watched Julian and Zoe walk out of the hotel, on to her next adventure. She will be going to Mexico for a little bit! We all got teary eyed when the other 3 puppies went to their new homes, but this one makes us want to ball our eyes out. But, we know Zoe will literally be living her best life, and that’s what we wanted for her.
Thank you Julian and Janna for being so patient, as I know it was a long wait. And congratulations on your newest addition to your family! Zoe will have an amazing Sheltie brother, Juno, to play with!
Thank you Basil and Raena for producing the sweetest and kissiest litter ever. I know all these puppies will be successful. Zoe and Norma are going to have the bestest pet lives. Penney is with Robin Reed (Raena’s breeder), and will be proving herself as a show dog! Riff (formerly Marilyn) is in an amazing performance/show home, and will do great things! And Trax, is staying at Bryar Oaks to hopefully help with our breeding program!
Anyways, here’s to Zoe and her next adventure!
