3.5 Years without a home…. 3.5 years of being overlooked…

This is the heartbreaking face of Mack that we as volunteers/staff see every single day as he pleads for us to spend time with him…

Mack came to us in 2019 from a very high kill shelter in Georgia. He was friendly and full of energy, but initially did not adjust well to our kennel environment whatsoever. He had some overstimulation issues but with our dedicated volunteers working with him day after day, he has blossomed into an ABSOLUTE angel.

Mack loves people. He is house trained, crate trained and super quiet when left alone. He LOVES to cuddle up at night and LOVES to play with toys. He doesn’t really pull on leash and he is super obedient. Mack does fine walking near and seeing other dogs outside, but he would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

UPDATE- Daisy has been adopted!!

Daisy - 55992925 is an 8-month old female German Shepherd that is running out of time. She’s been at the shelter longer than most of the dogs and she is starting to go stir crazy in her kennel.

If anyone has been wanting a young German Shepherd Dog and wants to save a life…..here’s your chance. She doesn’t have much time left and needs a hero.

Also, for those out there who may be breeding (or know someone who is) please ask yourself, "How can these actions be justified as so many are dying in our shelters?" Go walk the adoption floor and take note, burn the images into your brain, and know that MOST won't make it out alive. And what you see on the adoption floor is only a fraction of what came in, many never even make it onto the adoption floor. WE DON'T NEED TO BE CREATING MORE!! It's grossly Unethical!!!..
