Miss Gracie is searching for a loving new family. Her owners have made the difficult decision to rehome her because their household has become very busy, and they feel she deserves more attention and affection than they can currently provide.

Gracie is approximately 6 years old and is an absolute sweetheart. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccines (proof can be provided), and indoor only.

She gets along great with dogs and kiddos and has a very loving personality. If you’re looking for a sweet companion to add to your family, Gracie may be the perfect fit!!

**proof of current vaccinations will be required and a small rehoming fee**

Please message me for more information or if you’re interested in giving this beautiful girl a new home♥️

🐾 Bentley & Cooper 🐾

These two and I had a very lazy weekend together. They are definitely couch potatoes! So bad that we ended up binge watching a series together lol.

Bentley has to be right up against you at all times, while Cooper is still just a baby and was a little nervous at first. He slowly started to warm up and eventually ended up laying next to me. Even though Cooper loves to talk, he’s actually a very sweet boy—just like his big brother, Bentley. It was such a relaxing weekend spent with these handsome boys♥️

🐾 Meet Cally, Georgie, and Luke 🐾

Look at this farm! (Missing quite a few members of their crew!)

This crew includes 3 doggos, 8-ish cats, kittens, rescue squirrels, goats, and mini horses! I only spent the day with them, but it was such a fun and relaxing visit.

The doggos were super laid-back and happy to just hang out with me all day. Lazy bums. The kittens were recently found in the barn, and they’re still working on catching mama so she can be safe too. You could definitely tell the one was nervous, but the others loved to play..clearly I woke one up from her nap lol

The mom of this pack used to be a wildlife rehabilitator, so she’s had experience with lots of different animals over the years. It definitely shows! Every animal was loved and happy♥️🐿️

🐾 Simon & Tobie 🐾

one of my OG families!

I started watching these boys last summer - right when I decided to turn pet sitting into a “part-time job.”They need twice-daily drop-ins because Tobie is diabetic, so I head over every morning and evening for breakfast, dinner, and insulin time.

Tobie is such a good boy about getting his insulin. Treatos are well deserved during the injection. Of course, Simon has to get some too so nobody feels left out lol

These two are the sweetest little peas and always make my visits so easy and enjoyable. I love getting to spend time with them😻

I haven’t posted any updates on the cuties I’ve watched recently! I’m so far behind, so be prepared for a post every day 😂

First up is:

🐾 Waylon & Woody 🐾

I got to check in on these handsome boys during my lunch breaks for a few weeks.

Woody is the sweet old man who tries his hardest to keep up with Waylon and act like he’s still a puppy himself. He is SO freaking sweet. Waylon is just as lovable, but comes with plenty of puppy energy😂

Neither of them knows a stranger, and they were always so excited to see me. 10/10 good boys♥️

I’ve made the difficult decision to close all new bookings until September. I’ve realized lately that I’ve been struggling to keep up with messages and communication the way I’d like to. Life has been very busy, and I’m also trying to enjoy what’s left of wedding planning. Rather than overextend myself, I want to make sure I’m giving my current clients and their pets the attention they deserve.

Bookings will resume the last weekend of September. If you’re needing care before then, you’re more than welcome to message me for the contact information of two people I highly recommend—one is a veterinarian (Live Long & Pawspurr ) and the other is my friend, Wyatt, who is also a tech.

If you’re looking to book for dates after September, you’re still welcome to reach out. Just know that I may be slower to respond than usual, but I’ll do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.

I’m also hoping to use this time to make some improvements behind the scenes and come back at the end of the summer with a website and a few exciting updates!

I am truly grateful for all of the amazing pets and pet parents who have trusted me over the last year and for those I’ll be caring for in the weeks ahead. Thank you all for your support and understanding♥️🐾

Got to hang out with these two sweet boys, Maxwell and Winston, while their mom and dad got married! 🤍

They are some lazzzzyyyy boys. There was lots of napping and cuddles going on. Max is your classic golden—always right in my business. Then, Winston was all about the belly rubs🥰

Congrats again to their parents!!😊

Definitely not the update we wanted to give..

If you know me, you know pyrs and rescue dogs have such a special place in my heart. ❤️‍🩹
I’m so thankful that we were able to love on Thor and make sure he knew he wasn’t alone in his final moments. He deserved so much better, but for the short time Speak had him, he was so loved.
I wish we could save them all. Rest easy, sweet boy. 🤍🌈

We can’t thank everyone enough for the outpouring of support for Thor. We wanted so badly for his story to have a better ending.

A volunteer picked him up from the rural veterinary clinic where he’d been since being found in the woods on May 8 and brought him to Northgate Small Animal Hospital, where our volunteers were waiting to get him to the university for answers to why he was unable to walk.

We were told he was growling and didn’t want to be handled, but we only heard moans expressing his pain. So before his journey continued, one of the vets examined him to make sure we could keep him comfortable on the trip. His smell was overwhelming, his body so frail, and one of his front legs was in an unnatural position. And when he urinated, he cried out — a sound that broke every heart in the room.

While at the vet, Thor’s gums turned pale and he was placed on oxygen. We feared he wouldn’t survive the trip to the university, so we rushed him to the emergency department at a specialty hospital. His color had briefly returned, but when he was moved, it faded again. The hospital team acted immediately, running diagnostics in order to help him.

It was then we learned the truth: Thor had a large mass in his bladder, and with his inability to walk and the lesions covering his body, the vet was certain the cancer had metastasized.

As much as we wanted to save him — to make up for the humans who had failed him — we couldn’t. The kindest, most merciful thing we could do was to ease his pain and give him peace. We stayed by his side, and he knew he was loved. He had no idea how many people from all over were rooting for him, but in those final moments, he felt it.

Our hearts are shattered. We were ready to do everything possible to help him heal, but we promised we would never let him suffer again. He had already endured more than his share.

Like we do with all of our beloved Speak family members, we drove Thor to Kurrus Funeral Home, where they understand that dogs are family and deserve to be treated and honored as such. His ashes will be spread at the Speak Sanctuary, the place we hoped he would one day enjoy while he healed.

Thank you for showing Thor that kindness truly does exist. He left this world knowing love — and that makes all the difference.

I’m super late on posting, but I got to watch this girl 2ish weeks ago!

Wanted to introduce this SUPER cute pup named Ruby 🐶
I kept saying she doesn’t even look real — she looks like a little stuffed animal. But let me tell you… this girl is WILD. Big puppy energy at all times.

She’s also the biggest cuddle bug and always has to know what you’re up to. If you move, she’s right there supervising.

Included the picture of how proud she was after she managed to grab her mom’s purse off the counter, shred all the Kleenex, and dump all the change out of it 💀 Little thief. She loves to get into things mom said..trouble, trouble, trouble

10/10 adorable chaos and I’d absolutely love to hang with her again🥹
