About a month ago I got a call from a friend about five Chihuahuas that needed rescuing from the horrible conditions they were living in. They were living outside in the cold. The rescue group I Foster for was kind enough to rescue them & sponsor them. Three of the five are heartworm positive & New Beginnings Animal Rescue is in need of donations to help cover the cost of their medical care. Please consider donating. Every little bit helps, even if it's just $5. These sweet little dogs have been given a chance to have a much better life

Has anyone ever boarded their dog at the Petsmart hotel? I am considering boarding our new little fur baby & I like what I see of their facility. I like that they are not in cages, but in rooms with a bed & a tv. Just wondering if anyone had ever left their dog there and how they liked it.

His owner could not keep him but said he is great with kids but may be better suited with older ones as he loves to play, he chases cats but does not hurt them when caught and is very submissive with other dogs. RECALL - Boots & Barkley Roasted American Pig Ears & Boots & Barkley American Variety Pack dog treats due to possible salmonella contamination.

The recalled roasted pig ears and variety pack dog treats were distributed nationwide through Target stores in August 2012.

The lot number being recalled is stamped with BESTBY 13SEP2014DEN on both products.

The roasted pig ears are sold in a clear plastic bag that contain 12 pig ears and have UPC bar code 647263899158. The variety pack is sold in a 32-ounce clear plastic bag and has UPC bar code 490830400086.

Both animals and humans are at risk of getting salmonella poisoning.

If you have purchased the roasted pig ears or variety pack dog treats, you are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

I really don't understand why or how anyone could abandon this sweet fur baby. He needs out of the shelter he is in or he will will die for no reason! Someone PLEASE have a heart & share his post!!

ADOPTED! Junior's a little boxer/pug mix. He's an owner surrender. He's only 6 months old and ADORABLE. Here's the problem. The shelter is FULL. If we don't do some adoptions and soon, we'll be forced to euthanize healthy, adoptable animals for space -something we haven't had to do for the last week or so - thanks to our staff, our transfer partners, and YOU!! You are making a huge difference for these pets just by sharing! But we need your continued support. THEY need your continued support. Thank you!
