The temperatures are dropping! Unfortunately, so have our applications for adoptions and fostering.

This is not good for some of our dogs like Violet, who would much rather be curled up in a warm home instead of the kennels. She came into the office to hang out earlier and made herself comfy on a donated bed we had out! We couldn’t help but give her a blanket when she balled herself up like she was cold 💙

Can anyone come scoop this girl up so she can continue to stay warm in a home? If she’s not your type, we have PLENTY of other adult dogs and puppies to choose from - no matter what size/color/breed you are looking for, submit an application now so we can an find you a match!

Earlier this month, Stephen Blalock of Pro Fence Unlimited LLC donated all the fencing materials to build us a new play yard. After coming by today and seeing how much it meant to the dogs, he’s already looking to make plans to donate the materials for a FOURTH play yard soon! His support goes far beyond business-he genuinely cares about these dogs in our program.

These yards aren’t just “nice extras” at facility, they’re a lifeline. The shelter is not meant to be a dog’s forever home, and having safe space to run, relax, and show their true personalities helps keep them happy while reminding us that they deserve a real home beyond these fences and kennels.

We hope the very best thank-you we can give Stephen is seeing some of these dogs go home — and being trained and a little more relaxed when they get there in return. 🐾

Star Fire & Sadie have both been here for several months - much longer than most of our other dogs and somehow they keep getting passed by.

These 2 dont need to be adopted together, but both have done well meeting children and other dogs, are incredibly smart, already mastered a few basic commands, and have that classic “Labby” personality that is loyal and eager to please. 🖤

Woody & Buzz are both under 20lbs and READY to make your home way more fun! These two 6 month old terrier mix boys are everything — goofy, affectionate, and absolutely obsessed with people and attention.

They don’t have to go together, but they both have that “family dog” energy and are anxious to find a ticket out of the kennels. Basically, they’re ready to move in with you TODAY!

New intake - he was found off Hill Top in Po***ck. Anyone recognize? Unfortunately no tags, microchip, or owner identification was found but he is neutered and appears well cared for, so we know he’s got to be missing his humans!
