🚨 PUPPY OVERLOAD 🚨You’re gonna want to scroll through these pics….

We have had SO many new puppy intakes lately and we desperately need fosters and adopters to help us keep up. Puppy season has officially hit us HARD and without a warning.

We currently have puppies of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels looking for somewhere safe and comfortable to land, whether that’s temporarily in foster or forever through adoption!

While we don’t have an adoption event planned this weekend, our officers WILL still be available during regular hours today (Friday) - and on Saturday and Sunday we will be accepting and checking applications for anyone wanting to come meet our dogs and puppies next week (Tuesday!) when we are back in the office. You can also just take someone out for a fun doggy day out date if you’d like with no commitment during our regularly open business days! 🥰

And before you think to yourself, “I can’t afford a puppy right now”……just hear us out 👀

🐾 Foster supplies are provided
🐾 We help with vetting and medical care
🐾 Foster-to-adopt options are welcome
🐾 Adoption fees are ONLY $30
🐾 You don’t pay anything until you know it’s a great fit for your family!!
🐾 We are happy to provide post adoption and foster guidance and support as long as you need it to help set you and the pups up for success!

Seriously. We try to make this as easy and low-stress as possible because these babies deserve homes, not kennels. And yes… the puppy breath is also included for free. 🥰

Some of these puppies just need a short-term foster while they grow, get vetted, or wait on adopters/rescue placement. Others are ready to go steal your couch and your snacks immediately!

Hey doodle/terrier folks….we got something for you!

Meet Max! Max was originally surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him, and he was adopted quickly because… well… look at him. Unfortunately, puppyhood hit a little too hard and it ended up not being the right fit. So we are back to square one.

Here’s the honest parts:
✔️ He’s goofy, social, and LOVES people
✔️ Good with kids
✔️ Young enough to learn basically anything
✔️ He’s got that adorable “expensive doodle” look without the expensive doodle price tag (Only a $30 adoption fee!)

BUT…
⚡ He’s still very much a teen puppy
⚡ He needs a routine, consistency, and training
⚡ He may not be the best fit for cats or farm animals - so be prepared to test that out at your own risk
⚡ He might even test your patience before becoming your best friend 😂

His previous foster says they couldn’t even stay mad at him because he’s so dramatic and lovable. Honestly, Max is the kind of dog who will probably become AMAZING once someone commits to teaching him how to exist in civilized society.

He’s around 46 lbs, 6 months old, already neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and ready to go home. Adoption fee is only $30. What a deal for such a highly desired, designer breed?!

This dog was found off Hwy 8 near Hughart Rd in Po***ck. The finder believes the owners may live on Hughart Rd, but so far we have no leads as to who this handsome guy belongs to. Anyone recognize him or know anyone missing a dog like this? He wants to go back home - please share and help us reunite him with his family!

We have a really cool story we want to highlight that only happens occasionally, but it really does remind our staff how rewarding this job can be, despite also being incredibly difficult at the same time since all dogs don’t get this same happy ending.

Pictured below is a dog named ZZ and he is officially back home where he belongs! This reunion happened FAST thanks to a combination of an owner submitting a Lost Pet Report and one of our very observant officers! 👏

After ZZ went missing, his family submitted a Lost Pet Report through our website. The very next day, Officer Jeremiah Eubanks recognized him immediately from the report while out in the field and was able to reunite him with his family before he ever had to enter the kennels. And he already had a microchip too! 💙

THIS is why we encourage pet owners to:
✔️ Microchip your pets
✔️ Keep microchip information updated
✔️ Submit a Lost Pet Report as soon as a pet goes missing!

These tools truly help bring pets home faster and we are happy to microchip your dog if needed for only $10 (or sometimes less when available!)

Happy !

Today we’re celebrating not only our very own tripod adoption ambassador, but all of the blind, deaf, wobbly, medically different, and extra-special pets who remind us that love doesn’t come with a “perfect condition” requirement! 🐾

We are so grateful for our community, supporters, fosters, adopters, donors, volunteers, and also rescue partners who help make sure dogs needing a little extra care still get their chance - even when they end up at our facility. 💙

If you have a specially abled pet living their best life - (even if you didn’t get them from us!) drop their photo in the comments! We’d love to celebrate them! 🥳

Chuck got to really enjoy himself getting lots of love this past Saturday! He was great with everyone he met including children! We would love to get this amazing guy out of here soon to open up a spot at the kennels for the next dog in need. We believe Chuck would be a great fit for any family that might be interested in adding a new dog, so come on and meet him today!

He is estimated at under 2 years old and is 71lbs of lovable cuteness! Take him home today and his adoption fee is only $30 - which you don’t have to pay until after his neuter and rabies is done. We have already microchipped him and he has been dewormed!
