🙌SOME GOOD NEWS! Moab Valley Fire Department firefighters rescued a cat while responding to initial attack on the on Thursday, 7/10 in San Juan County, Utah.

The cat was roughly 50 yards in the burned fire area, meowing and screaming. MVFD firefighter Tom Stewart ran in, made the grab and turned it over to law enforcement to be taken to an emergency vet.

The cat had burns on its stomach, face, legs and paws. 🐾

Remembering MONTE 💜
We were asked to come to NOLA after Hurricane KATRINA & before Rita hit to rescue some Senior Kittizens that had been surrendered.

Monte became one of the famous faces of Katrina with posters of him all over New Orleans as we desperately tried to find his humans.

***Monte was found left in a carrier on a bridge next to another carrier that had a snake in it. A snake rescuer got that one…
We also were asked to take Monte & a few others that needed to get out of the area.***

Monte settled in with the other Kittizens & was such a sweetheart.

Monte, rescued Katrina kitty. Still looking for his humans but think he might be best having his own home. his own humans. not a packcat. spoiled boy. lover boy.

Truly recommend getting a security cam(s) & place where your babies are. You forget about it but the memories captured are priceless. This is me & my daughter cat JOSIE LOU having one of our talks 🩷

When we read a FB post that a wild baby bird was being cared for by our friends at Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation & needed some minnows, Dean & I went to the Bait Store & bought 3 doz mediums.

We know how busy MWR are & just wanted to drop off the minnows but when we pulled up a crow flew right over us & sat on the ground talking to us.

I have always had a thing for crows. And when he flew on Dean’s shoulder, my heart just burst with happiness. Then DENNIS (crow) flew on my head. I was overcome with childlike joy. It’s was truly a remarkable experience.

Dennis & his sibling were rescued as orphaned babies, rehabbed & released. His sibling is now living the beautiful wildlife.
Dennis came back.
