I apologize for the lack of updates and doggo pics lately. Maddy was diagnosed with bone marrow leukemia back in November. It’s been hard but we are soaking up everything we can. We have had several inquiries on daycare and boarding but unfortunately due to Maddys weakened immune system we have had to suspend doggie visitors in order to keep maddy safe. Our future is unknown but for now we will take things one day at a time and live up on our girls as much as possible ❤️‍🩹

Summer has been fun and we have been really into field trips lately 🥰 (this particular adventure was made possible with a few other lovely humans)

August updates: Oakley has to have a procedure done aug 12th so we will not be taking any doggos until she is recovered(date TBD)
The humans will also be taking a much needed vacation aug 26-sep 7 so we will not be doing any bookings those dates.

A full golden hour morning walk! It’s a spicy one this week! Limit your outdoor pet activities to the morning or evening when it is cooler. Provide extra water. Check the temperature of the pavement to avoid paw burn.

If you don’t know if it’s safe, put on a fur coat and walk around barefoot outside for 20 minutes and see how you feel 😁

Days like today are worth the long hours of cleaning, scooping p**p, washing dog dishes and all the in betweens. This anxious boy has struggled. He came for a meet and greet a few weeks ago and we didn’t know what to expect. He immediately started wagging his tail with the girls and acted like he had been here a few times. He now snuggles up in bed with Oakley for naps. To watch anxious dogs feel safe and comfortable with us is so rewarding ❤️❤️
