Sometimes they move, they fidget, they paw…. Not every session is zen. But every session still achieves release of tension, of soreness, and of contractions within the muscle. Just like us, horses have days they are a little more hyped, or just don’t want to stand still the entire time, and that’s ok! It’s very common for the horse to react to the release of the muscle about to happen and start to fidget. Then more than not, the horse pauses, releases, takes a moment, then goes back to moving. I’ll dance the whole time with him, and we can both have fun doing the tango!
