Together we are making a difference. 🥰🐶🐾❤

As many volunteers on the PJ's team have 9-5 jobs, they take time to out of their schedules because of their passion for animals. On Tuesday, two of our volunteers headed out (with no questions asked) to assist with a large group of surrendered pups. On a routine basis, our volunteers sacrifice time with their family, friends, and their own furry babies to continue the work PJ's Rescue was created to do. Thank you to our amazing volunteers and supporters! 🐾

Thank you to those that have donated or shared our post(s). All 6 of the pups that were brought into the rescue on Tuesday have been examined by a vet and are currently in foster homes decompressing and enjoying the comforts of home. The puppies are doing well and got much needed sleep after the adventures yesterday. The two adults, Cow and Moo, are both making great progress. Yesterday, they were too scared to be handled, today they are coming out of their shells and love snuggles.

We are so glad that we could partner with Carlton County Animal Rescue, who have graciously taken in two of the puppies into their foster care. We can’t wait to see their progress. 🙂

‼️Supplies and donations urgently needed‼️
In collaboration with other local rescue organizations, over 30 dogs were saved today. Four puppies and two adults are currently in our care. We expect to take in more dogs in the coming days. The four puppies are currently receiving emergency care at Northern Woods Animal Hospital. We are in need of puppy food, with a preference for Iams, but will appreciate any donations. If unable to donate, please share this post to spread the word in helping these innocent pups💕🐶

Luke is available for adoption🐾💙

He is a sweet and goofy boy who enjoys soaking up a sunbeam. He is potty trained, kennel trained, and has had four weeks of obedience training with black onyx dog training. Luke likes to give sniffy kisses instead of licky kisses and it tickles! Luke does well with children 5 years and older. He is selective of dogs and needs slow and proper introductions. Unknown about cats. Luke comes with a training lesson to teach you what he has learned.

We need our communities support! Become a foster with PJ’s Rescue and help provide temporary homes for dogs in need.

M is for Mabel, a marvelous medley of merry and magic! ❤

❤ Mabel is ~2 years old.
❤ Mabel is a spayed pit bull terrier mix.
❤ Mabel is very sweet and loves adventures.
❤ Mabel does well with other dogs who love to play, but isn't a fan of cats.

Who remembers Howard the hound? This amazing guy came into PJs about 3/4 years ago and was returned once then found his furever guy. James and Howard were meant to be. James had to make a very difficult decision as Howard was sick with the big C. Our thoughts are with you and your family. 🌈💙

Today I said goodbye to my faithful bloodhound Howard. I rescued Howard 1 1/2 years ago. He lived his last days with me living the best life he could always walking eating and of course sleeping his day away. He was a friendly face that everyone could fall in love with,always happy and a loyal companion for me. But he’s off to a better place now probably sleeping somewhere in bloodhound heaven. That in itself was and is the hardest thing I have ever had to do is let him go so he would not be in pain anymore. Howard’s happy now and was happy to meet all that met him. Rest easy my friend 💙and thank you to Pjs Rescue for allowing me to have him as part of my family..

💕🐾Destiny Rose “Miss Dane” is ready to find her forever home. She is an approximately 1yr old Great Dane. She is petite for a Dane, but still large. She is very sweet and often calm mannered. Does great in public and can be your brewery buddy. Rides great in the car. Crate & potty trained. Gets along well with other dogs! She absolutely adores her fur siblings and kids. She would do best with another dog as play time is her favorite time. Due to her size and the fact that she loves to talk with her feet and paw at you, a home with older children would be best. Cats unknown.

Have we mentioned that this cutie is available for adoption?! Meet Buck, our ~20lb, cuddle-loving, couch potato. 💙 Buck has been with PJ's Rescue for more than 250 days and he's eager to find his furever home!

Buck is potty trained, crate trained, plays well with other dogs, and hasn't had any negative behavior experiences with humans. He'd do best in a home with a fenced-backyard or area where he can play on an extended leash.

Happy Thursday everyone! Meet Bluey, Bingo's brother! Bluey is crate trained, neutered, and nearly potty trained. He's a little more shy than his brother, but it doesn't take long before he's warmed up and ready to play with new people!

He's enjoying life in his foster home and currently working on some leash manners and confidence building. He gets along with other dogs well, but hasn't had any interactions with cats yet. Like his brother, he's had no negative interactions with humans.

Say "hello" to Bingo! He's our ~10 month old heeler/shepherd mix that is as sweet as he is quirky. He's always down for an adventure and has been loving exploring with his fosters.

He's potty trained, crate trained, neutered, does well with other dogs, and hasn't had any negative interactions with humans.

Bonus: Bingo and his brother, Bluey, are both in foster care so we've got two loveable boys available for adoption. We'll share additional information about Bluey soon, as both brothers will need to find separate furever families.

Meet Dezi! Dezi is our sweet, ~7-year-old pit bull terrier mix! Dezi is spayed, house trained, kennel trained, and knows basic commands.

Dezi's ideal home is one without kids and with people who can set good boundaries in a calm environment for her. Dezi hasn't shown any aggression towards kids, but they do frighten her and slow introductions to new dogs works best for her.
