Today we held our second pet food drive for the residents of Colony Ridge, and we’re feeling so grateful! 🐾

A huge thank you to all our amazing friends, SoRaiida Moreno Peña, Lidia Reyes & Luda Banadera and her husband 🙏🐾❤️
who support us and showed up to volunteer — you make all the difference. ❤️

And a special shoutout to our new friends at Fix & Save Lives for not only coming out to help but also bringing bags of dog food to distribute to the community 🐶❤️🐾

🚨 URGENT: DOG NEEDS RESCUE 🚨
Please help — this poor, emaciated, hairless dog is dying alone in the street. 💔
They desperately need immediate rescue, vet care, and a foster home.

This dog is skin and bones, looks to be suffering from severe mange and starvation, and is barely hanging on.
No animal deserves to be overlooked like this — please, if any local rescue, foster, or kind person can help, reach out ASAP.

💔 Beat up by life… but still holding on 💔
You can see it in his eyes — tired, defeated, but still so gentle. Life has been unbearably hard for him. Yet, even after everything, he still wags his tail. Still believes there might be kindness out there.
If we don’t find rescue soon, he may never know what love feels like… never know the warmth of a soft bed or the safety of a caring touch. 😢
He’s friendly, submissive, and still hopeful — a soul who hasn’t given up.
He deserves a chance to live, to heal, and to finally be loved. 🐾

Who said volunteering was all work and no play? 😉
We got to cuddle tons of puppies, scoop some p**p, and spend the day surrounded by people who truly care about saving lives. 🐶💩💖

💔 UPDATE: HELP HAS NOT COME 💔
Mama and her newborns are still out there.
No one has stepped up.
No offers.
No rescue. 😢
It’s now their third cold night after the rain, and those blankets are likely soaked through.
Mama is doing her best to protect her babies, but she can’t do this alone. 💔
We’re so grateful to Soraida, who brought an insulated dog house to give them some shelter — but it’s not enough.
A report has been made to SPCA, but there’s no update or guarantee they’ll come to this area.
