Cheeto may be new to the shelter, but he’s already stolen our hearts. The moment you walk into the room, he’s right there at the front of his cage, ready to greet you like an old friend. He loves attention — especially head rubs and, yes, even a good ol' butt scratch! 😸
Cheeto is not shy in the slightest. He’s a confident, affectionate boy who’s clearly ready to trade in shelter life for a cozy couch, some sunbeams, and a forever family to call his own. He’s made it very clear (with some very enthusiastic head nudges) that he’s ready to be someone’s new best friend.

When adopting an animal, you can expect the following:
First three days: Animals may be overwhelmed as they get used to their new surroundings.
After three weeks: They may feel more comfortable and have a better understanding of their routine.
Three months after adoption: Animals feel safe, secure, and ready to build a trusting bond with you as their pet parent.
It's important to note that the behavior exhibited by animals in the shelter often does not accurately represent their true personality at home, largely due to the high-stress conditions of the shelter.
