G.K. Petcare I aim to bring pet owners peace of mind, gladly providing in-home care for pets to reduce their stre Hi! I’m Gillian (I also go by Gill).

I grew up in MA and moved to Lakewood, OH 7 years ago when I met my now fiance. We bought our first house and I am thrilled to be starting my petcare business again in 2021. I’ve been in animal care for 13+ years, and am insured and bonded through Pet Care Insurance. While going to school at BGSU I realized I wanted to pursue my love for animals and I’ve found myself working as a veterinary assist

ant, a rescue volunteer, a dog walker, an obedience trainer, and a doggy daycare attendant and receptionist. When I’m not snuggling a dog or cat or going for walks, I like to play video games, board games, bake cookies, and watch movies. I’m a chatterbox so if you like crazy stories from the animal world, I’m who to talk to!

It's HOT today, and the dew point is above 70 which significantly increases heat induced illness or injury for both people and pets because sweating (humans) and panting (dogs) won't successfully cool your body down. As a result, walks are shorter today. We know 20 minutes doesn't seem like enough to need to shorten, but we ask that you keep in mind we're doing that 7+ times with no longer than 5 minutes in between. We're only human! And we'd love to sit inside and give your pups some extra pets and love today to make up for it!

I recommend cooling bandanas if you intend to have your pup out for longer than 15 minutes at a time!
