The time has come for me to announce that we will no longer be taking in horses. As we are preparing to move back to AZ to help family! I have enjoyed running the quarantine and helping all my wonderful clients. We will not be running the business in AZ. My horses will make there way to AZ this week and we will just have a few horses for a few more weeks before they head off to there final homes. Thank you again everyone for trusting me with your horses and I will miss working with you all.

We currently have two standard stalls and two mini/pony/ donkey stalls available at the ranch. At this time, our accommodations for unhandled horses are full, so we are only accepting handled horses. This young mare arrived at our facility one week ago (see picture 1). She is fearful and avoids any interaction with humans. After allowing her some time to decompress and acclimate to her new quarantine environment, I began working with her today. While she was quite anxious when I entered the stall, by the time I was approximately 8 inches away, she had noticeably slowed her breathing and began to relax. We will continue with gradual, positive reinforcement-based training to help her become more comfortable with handling, with the goal of haltering her before her departure to her new home in Texas.

In early January, this mare arrived at Healing Hearts Ranch & Rescue Quarantine, fearful and unapproachable. Haltering or touching her was impossible. Through dedicated work, we've earned her trust, and I can now approach and halter her. The following shows her confidently interacting with my donkeys and seeking attention. Our quarantine facilities have openings: 5 large stalls and 2 mini stalls.

WE HAVE OPEN STALLS!!!
We had stepped back from taking in new horses to upgrade the areas.
Stalls are now 24x24 or 12x36.
Horses will have time out in the round pen.
Horses with us longer than 30 days will get to enjoy our nice green pasture.

We have reduced our fees also!!!!

We are doing some changes here at quarantine so the horses have more area to stretch.

We are making 3 or 4 stalls to 24x24 and 2 of our stalls 48x12. The mini pens will be getting a makeover also at some point.

We are about to re-tarp all the covers as the last wind storm officially took all the old ones.

We are also going to have a turn out pasture just for Quarantine horses.

Any horses here longer than 45 days will have time out in our large pasture.

Us and Our Ranch

Healing Hearts Ranch & Rescue was founded March 2019 when we moved to Oklahoma from Arizona. Falisha was raised around rescue horses since she was little and has had her own horses through out the years also. We have been together since 2015. We have enjoyed having our own ranch since moving here to Oklahoma.

There was always 4+ horses on Falisha’s family ranch at all times all the way up to about 60. She has worked with all different type of horses. Anything from brand new foals to unhand-able horses. We started the rescue here in Oklahoma to help start the quarantine process for anyone that is wanting to save horses. We work with multiple rescues, 501 (C) 3 and military. We do some transportation close by but don't go to far so we can be home to put all our focus on the horses that are here on the ranch! We make sure that all the horses get one on one time. If horses don't trust people we work very closely on trust to make the rest of the journey easier to their new home.
