This is the face our foster kittens make when we run out of wet food. 😾

🗓️September’s kitten model is Salamander! We had so much fun with this shoot. We used a sheet of glass and a churu treat and Sal was more than happy to participate!

🖤Meet Asher & Ember, the most gorgeous brother and sister pair! These kittens were rescued from underneath the the crawl space of an apartment complex. Their mom was the last cat in the colony to be trapped, spayed, and returned. With her kittens rescued, the colony is no longer going to produce more lives! TNR for the win!

🐈‍⬛A little shy and wary of humans at first but once they warm up, you are rewarded with their sweet, playful, and cute personalities! They are definitely a bonded pair. They eat, sleep, cuddle, and play together. They are good with other cats and well-mannered dogs.

💞Meet Willow! This adorable little puffball was found at about 2 weeks old under a shed during a TNR mission. She appeared to be abandoned/orphaned. No mom was sighted after hours of waiting and Willow was crying loudly. Luckily, one of our wonderful fosters was able to rescue her and has been bottle feeding her around the clock. She is warm, safe, and always has a full belly. 😻

🩶Meet the cutest, sweetest little graybie, Biscuit! He was rescued from the brink of death, when he was nothing but bones and so sick his eyes could barely open. These days he is a fun and spunky little boy who loves to make biscuits with his paws when he is getting loved on!

😻He is friendly with other cats, as well as dogs who respect cats. He loves his window perch, and cat tower and he loves all of his cat toys! His favorite toys are the ones that he can swat around and chase. He loves having another cat to play with and is good with kids. He also loves to stick his tongue out when he’s relaxed.

🗺️Although MDKR is located in South Carolina, we also advertise our adoptions up north. Kitten season is much different up there (not as long or as intense) than it is down here. Broadening our adoption radius helps us find more homes for our kittens which = more kittens we can save!

🚙💨Yesterday, we drove SEVEN kittens from SC to NJ & NY and delivered them to their forever homes.

Santos is the former ✨Queen of Crust✨ now that she has kicked the ringworm to the curb. She started patchy and crusty. Then she was bald. Now she’s rocking a fun mullet. Short hair up top and fluffy pants in the back. It really suits her. She’s a wonderful weirdo. 🤪
