👻How many of you have heard the MYTH that harnesses CAUSE pulling?👻

Let's finally lay this one to rest.

Harnesses do not cause dogs to pull. Pulling is driven by training gaps, excitement, environment, and reinforcement rather than the equipment itself.

Untrained dogs will pull just as much on a flat collar. The appropriate harness(not all harnesses are created equal and not all are built for the same activities) can distribute the pressure acrossed the chest instead of the neck/throat and if fitted well and clipped to the front can actually give us MORE control. It's the safest option IMO. Here are my top 3 choices in harnesses and my top local trainers to help.

Keeping our bodies moving our brain engaged and having fun. Mac gets a lot of walks with his mom and then she lets me come do fun stuff in the yard with him when she works ❤️ our time together is always structured so that he can opt in and opt out of multiple different activities as he pleases.

Car thoughts. My thoughts aren't to point fingers, or say something's right or wrong,they are to provoke THOUGHT. So...think about it! We already know as a society that animals are valued as less than because we raise and slaughter billions a year to consume them even though it's been proven to be unnecessary for the most part,and definitely not on the scale that has been reached in today's society. We don't NEED ALOT or any meat but we WANT it. Maybe our dogs don't need to go into public with us all day everyday, but that's our WANT. I'd like to challenge us all to think about our dog's needs and wants this week and to share our creative ways in which we got their needs and wants accomplished without harming them.
