I will be opening up some 2-hour adventure spots later today! These are for previous and current clients only(or sponsoring shelter dogs for a discounted rate). I pick your dog up. We find a nature spot as quiet and close to home as we can up to a half an hour drive away. Faith and Lexie give this morning's adventure two paws up.

Housecalls to the Hounds

Today marked the maiden voyage of a brand-new outreach partnership with a local veterinarian, Housecalls to the Hounds.Together, we’ve launched a pilot program bringing veterinary care directly to our friends fury companions experiencing homelessness who walk alongside them through life on the streets of Central New York.

Today was day one. We visited a dear friend of ours who is currently living outdoors with two dogs. The veterinarian came out to meet them where they are, spending time doing wellness checks on the dogs and helping determine what next steps, if any, may be needed to keep them healthy and cared for.

We’re grateful to report that today our four-legged friends received a shining bill of health. Moving forward, we’ll simply help provide some of the basic necessities needed to keep these companions healthy and thriving.

This is more than veterinary care. It’s about dignity, compassion, and recognizing that for many living outdoors, these animals are family, protection, companionship, and unconditional love.

We are excited for this new adventure and thankful for the opportunity to care not only for our human friends, but also for the loyal companions who share the journey with them every day.

A heartfelt thank you to our veterinarian for coming out today and making the very first Housecalls to the Hounds visit such a meaningful one. Together, we’re building hope and changing lives two legs and four legs at a time.
